it Almost sounded like he was just doing weekends now. I remember them joking with him and calling him short timer sean😂 he's a great dude, I've liked him since day one, I remember a bunch of people talking crap in the beginning that he was too quiet on camera and this and that, but 90percent of those people love him now! I just like his laid back attitude, has a vast amount of knowledge, and isn't afraid of hard work and jumping right into a project and getting his hands dirty. he's grown up in his dad's shop who's a really talented guy so he's got that hands on knowledge

With such a short segment of lower radiator hose, I can see the radiator flange cracking due to engine deflection/ harmonic vibration. There is a reason there is length built into factory hoses.

That Ford van stuck in the mud looks like the same one you rescued awhile back. Paul and Sean got em out! Sean has really became a wizard at installing those AC after market units and so many other things while Paul works his magic. Love the '55 Chevy the new wheels look great and it's going to be a beast! I like Paul's comment to Jace " you boys wont be driving the'55"!

Me too, these ones look a little too shiny. I think some black accent spokes in the center of the chrome ones would look cool. Easy to mock up with tape.

Stuff from the '60s always looks better & 'right" to me as well. I woulda put chrome reverse on it in a heartbeat. Can't deal with those modern wheel designs.

@@UberLummox sadly 15" tires are slowly phasing out. So at least cragar s/s and kidney bean ovals are still made in16-17-18. I do like a little sidewall to wrinkle though...

Needed new calipers anyways, so why not high heat powder coated red, vs the stock typically raw finish calipers that will rust with the first splash of water, thats typically your two options, painted vs raw, there’s no fascination about anything red is also a good aftermarket upgraded look

Hi Paul. Pro tip to save your A/C compressor. You should put a dryer on your low pressure line between the firewall and the compressor. It’s a pot that collects any refrigerant that hasn’t vaporized preventing liquid from going into the compressor. Fluid will ruin it as it’s only designed to compress vapour.

There's a whining noise in the workshop scene from 9:00 until 15:00 approximately. Sean is about 90% of the show but it's generally quietly done without any complaint. Nice fellow to have around if anyone wants an opinion from your follower here!

No, I didn't look to see if anyone else said this, but it seems to me that making the lower rad hose connection that close will flex the metal every time the engine torques or revvs up. I can imagine the bottom pipe that you just got done welding, breaking off...!!?? But the video isn't done yet....I'll get more popcorn and wait. Love ya guys!!!!

Those new tires are pretty awesome. In the old days we just put wide tires on the back and skinny tires on the front. Usually L60/15 on the rear and the front was something like a G78/15.

For that short of a bottom radiator hose you should use bellow flexible hose. Engine torque twist eventually will rip the non flexible apart. Wheels are not my favorite, but I’m not the one who has to live with them, so if you like them that all it matters. Can wait to see the finished car, I like these Chevys.

Paul....... put a face shield on. I almost lost my eye with a death wheel. Cut me from my nose to over my eye brow . My skull still has a grove in it. Cutting off a tail pipe . I was being warned in my head but didn't listen . Cut through my safety glasses. I wear a face shield now and have a safety guard on grinder. Stay safe 😊

Hi before it was mentioned that hunter and Shawn was leaving I said I hope no one left as you all made a great team. I was hoping that hunter might go to college and learn mechanical engineering whilst working for you. I can’t remember what he said he was going to go and do but I kind of wished he would stay around as he was becoming a mini Paul and was a natural in front of the camera you all were so great together. I wish him well and I hope he is doing well any news about him occasionally would be great fully appreciated. I’m glad Shawn is still around x they all become like family to us viewers ❤

Yeah North Fork Road is no joke when it rains a little bit, we are up there in cougar Canyon and yep fun fun. Good thing is as long as you're not off the side you can wait 45 minutes an hour and drive out just fine but if you slip off on one of them big ruts on the side you are stuck

A hose crimper is one of the most underrated tools you can have in a shop. Especially with these kinds of projects that Paul does, pretty much everything is custom. In the long run making your own hoses will be cheaper compared to trying make OEM stuff work or constantly having the hosers come to your shop. Plus: making your own stuff guarantees that it will fit. 😎🤘

Firestone Firehawks, used to get 65. 000 kilometers on each set, sadly our new tyre factory was closed, sadly no Firehawks, using supercats made in Thailand for Bridgestone, good budget tyre's, 😊.

Fitment is good. I personally would have gone polished lip with a painted center. Silver, gunmetal maybe. Depends what color it's going to be.

I had two '55s when I was in high school. My first one was a BelAir, but the front bumper didn't have those little wings on the corners! I wonder if those only came with V-8s? Nice rig! I'm envious, keep up the good work, and shows.

I would have use braided steel hose for the 55, Sean should stay at your shop, he’s a true asset.
