I don’t think Ay ever planned to rule Egypt. He was an elderly man, believed by some to be the brother of Queen Thye (Tut’s grandmother). General Horemheb had managed to get himself appointed crown prince, presumably because Tut had no children. I think Ankhesenamun was desperate to keep Horemheb off the throne so she asked her advisor and great-uncle to step in. The burial was a rushed job, done before Horemheb could return from the field.

Agreed, but the way they have painted Ay, in multiple documentaries, as the guy who couldn't wait to steal the throne.

@@camilledvorak7151 right? I don’t get why ppl hate him. You’d be a pr!ck too if you had to deal with the kinds of ppl he has to deal with regularly. Antiquities thieves and black market antiquities is a BILLION dollar industry and ppl literally kill over it. Think Elliot Ness vs. Organized Crime... except it’s literally Zahi Hawass vs Organized Crime.

I mean, how was the original assumption anything but the vilest sort of racism? I sometimes can't get over how blatant it was, yet even in the documentary they never mention that.

How ridiculous. Ankhesenamun was forced to marry At. This has been proved by the fact she sent an urgent plea to a king of a neighbouring country to send a son for her to marry. These people treat us as idiots, it’s like they are very bad actors in an Agatha Christie murder mystery.

Tut was actually a little known Pharoah and the tomb was small compared to the massive multi chambered tombs in the valley but the tomb was not looted It was probably the most sensationalized tomb in Egypt a little known king became famous over night and is still the most famous of all pharaohs he was very young when he became Pharoah and sadly died when he was about 19 now he's as famous as any pop star 😮😮😂😂

They found the reasons years ago why his tomb was never robbed . A great flood had washed down the cliffs smothering the door way with dirt and stone . The thousands of years of sand drift did the rest . Lazy research by the producers and writers of the video

I still believe Smenkare was the son of Akenaton, and Tutankhamon the grandson of the latter, all of it because of the KV55 decayed mummy that couldn't possibly belong to a middle aged man, but to a very young, Teen-ish, lad: just look at his teeth, and you will already be persuaded by this theory.

PS: according to me King Tut married his aunt, meanwhile Ankhensanamun married first her nephew and than her Grandfather, if he was indeed the father of Nofretete: how messy life could have been for her?

@massimosquecco8956 According to a program I saw with Dr. Hawass. He mentioned it as he was explaining his identification of Hatshepsut's mummy. Also, on Expedition Unknown when it was trying to determine it Younger Lady might actually be Nefertiti, as it had already been shown that Younger Lady and Ahknaten were Tutankhamen parents.

In philosophy, empiricism is an epistemological view which holds that true knowledge or justification comes only or primarily from sensory experience and empirical evidence.[1] It is one of several competing views within epistemology, along with rationalism and skepticism. Empiricists argue that empiricism is a more reliable method of finding the truth than purely using logical reasoning, because humans have cognitive biases and limitations which lead to errors of judgement.[2] Empiricism emphasizes the central role of empirical evidence in the formation of ideas, rather than innate ideas or traditions.[3] Empiricists may argue that traditions (or customs) arise due to relations of previous sensory experiences😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
