hey Mwaf, I agree with you. I think that backing tracks during performances is not a regional thing though, my opinion is there are artists and musicians. Artists respect their crafts and their performances are the ultimate experiences to die for. Musicians just don't have the time for that hard work that goes into performing with a band or selling that experience at a concert. Some are big names and for reasons best known to them they will do tours with just themselves a mic and an aux cable e.g Drake. Some Tanzanian Artists depending on the stage pull off performances without the backing track eg Mbosso at the yamaha concert. For real bro. Diamond without Kenya he will/would have been nothing. Diamond was ready to perform even after Pozze but the issue is his manager SK Salla. If diamond performed and SK salla had not authorised him, it would bring him a finacial penalty for not obeying his "MASTER". SK salla was the MAIN PROBLEM at the concert for things were not going as the way he wanted/plan when diamond was about to step on the stage.
