@BorkenGarage3 жыл бұрын
@@wasabicars Yeah not sure I've seen that one, I've gone off it a bit. I tend to go through phases like that lol. It is quite time consuming to play too, I haven't fired it up for ages. Been having some health issues this year so after work I'm usually knackered and if anything I go and play some GTA cause it doesn't take much brain energy. The stress of zombies and killer bears doesn't appeal to me much at the moment lol.
@paulfitzgibbon41103 жыл бұрын
That VB10 didn't have the original motor. It has to be either an A14 or A15. The distributor is next to number 3 cylinder & there is 2 outer studs instead of 1 central stud, as with early A10's & A12's. Also, these cars were basic transportation, so the sparse interior was how it was built. I had a Sunny 1000 coupe with a 1.3 litre A12 that I raced in hill climbs in the 1990's, the car weighed about 600 kgs all up. I also had a VB310 panel van & a WPB310 Sunny wagon with the sloping rear body work, plus a couple of B310 sedans & KB310 coupes. so this video was greatly enjoyed. .
@wasabicars3 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul. I'm pretty confused about the engine situation in the VB10. Yeah, came with the A10. The garage owner says it has an A12, and the sales listing says it's 1500cc. Hey, this is exactly why 'car spotting' is where my hobby starts and ends. I'll leave the details to people such as yourself who know what they're talking about. Thanks for watching :)
@paulfitzgibbon41103 жыл бұрын
I'd say it was an A15 then. I've been told you can get an A12 out to 1400 cc's, but not 1500. Maybe the garage owner was afraid he'd get in trouble with the shakan people. I can remember a line from the Initial D manga where Takumi was worried they were putting a different engine in the Panda Trueno. In Australia we seem to be swapping bigger engines in with no second thoughts. That Hatchi Roko would have had a 18RG or a 13B rotary fitted quick smart.

the roof panel looks like its reholstered im not familiar with how this van orignally was inside, but this is what my B110 2 door sedan looks like at the roof when i now removed the roof panel, so it looks to me maybe the roof panel on this van is installed under the rails/ fastening bridges in the roof,as in my b110 the holster was mounted outside the rails/brigdes, but to me it gives it a more industrial aproach that i like :-) otherwise a nice clean Sunny Van. Seeing the price of that shortbody makes me feel real bad as since the American explosion in interest in Japanese cars has taken hold, once affordable old J-tin is now priced out of control, even in Japan.
