I FINALLY WROTE EVERYTHING MY LORD IT TOOK FOREVER- Whoever will read the entire thing, cookies well deserved, this is basically a fanfiction and tbh I feel like I could have go on FOREVER because is a kind of story I always wanted to express, especially Phineas’ emotions about it, but is better not explaining everything and let you come to your own conclusions, especially after watching the edit which is the thing you rightly care he most, sorry for my long ass essays TwT First of anything, a bit more explanation how I had the idea: Months back I watched Arlo the Alligator Boy and guys IF ITS GOOD! At first viewing it didn’t clicked with me that much but on second viewing, despite the two “villains” who I would have use highlight the twist and theme in general it was a delight of an experience especially for “body positivity” message and the animation, I highly recommend it, can’t wait for the show! Back to thinking, Arlo’s father conflicted me a lot because in a part I understood why he did what he did, but on the other hand, YOU COULD HAVE TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOUR KID C’MON! So my conflicted feelings, which in the end are mostly positive, led me to consider a different father’s figure for Phineas, my obsessions for the songs led me many possible views of him and a possible relationship, then the idea came: a huge figure who will influence the entire’s Phineas character from what we knew. This mostly helped me identify a father’s figure for the PhinDeku story and the idea immediately was signed and approved, but I also wanted to use the song and reinvent the story for a video of mine and there ya go! Alt Doof used as Phineas’ real father, master of inventive activation! Gonna be honest, I realised later I used the “Doof is Phineas’ real father” annoying theory but, TECHNICALLY, I didn’t because is Alt Doof, not the real one .. get it for what it is thanks x,3 Of course is not really Alt Doof, tbh for a moment I wanted to use teen Phineas as the real father but aside from the MINIMUM clip material, Phinny a criminal? PFFFFFFFFFFF, maybe in the first season ehehe, so I used my fave villain from the show and also I’m a faller making videos between these two what can I say. The final result, personally, is really good and make me realise how much fun it is theorising Phineas’ real father figure, it would EVER be this one considering the light hearted tone of the show, but as always I’m here to bring angst into my fave show so that’s another BIG pleasure of mine eheheh. Okie now story time QwQ Story: Phineas just got out of Danville's Security Prison and he’s heading back to Danville quietly, many things tormenting his head. Once arrived at his city’s border, he takes a deep breath, ready to go through downtown to get back home, but not even halfway, hearing some kids’ talking brings him somehow back to reality and a sudden shake gets him, like wanting to awake him from a dream. He tries calming himself and proceeds his way between the streets, unnoticed, as he feels like his mask, the joyous confident mask that everyone knows and so loves, crumbles revealing a new side of him, deeply hurt and blue and most of everything alone. He reflects everything he offered to others his entire life, his talent in inventions and music, questioning whenever was for egoism and ego or just a way to always amuse others; the encounter he had that afternoon opened many fears he suppressed and denied over the years and now they all became tangible and real. Pressed by too many things and faces, Phineas recalls how it all began: the day it all started. Few weeks ago, Phineas had a sort of block which led him to take a day off inventions, however, the following days he realizes that it’s unmotivated and without any idea on what to do and the people around him, both his friends and Danville’s citizens asks him for explanations but the kid simply avoid the argument and people ensuring it was just a meditating break, while in reality he feels really uneasy and many thoughts comes in, questioning what is going on with him. One day eventually, while scraping on some old gears’ boxes on the attic, Phineas finds an old picture of him and his real father and while highly conflicted about that crazy idea, he finds himself in front of Danville’s Security Prison just out of the town, ready to meet his father kept under detention and had a confrontation after years apart. The man doesn’t seem happy at all to see his kids after so long, otherwise he’s pretty cold and distant, making Phineas feel more uneasy than he already is. Phineas eventually would want to have a talk with him and ask him what happened years back when he was arrested and, to the kid’s surprise, the man asks if he really came there for him or to find an explanation for his block and the pressure from the people around him. That affirmation froze Phineas, shocked. The conversation keeps going, his father’s words hammer violently Phineas heads; the man, theorizing the whole following argument, explains that the kid’s talent led him to bring so much impact in the city and in general getting so much notoriety and celebrity for his inventions, singing and cheering personality, but he asks if all the things he ever done to others, eventually gave him the reputation of being a shiny, confident and non stop worker, who if he even tries to show something else, nobody would want him more, because they’ve been used to get extraordinary inventions and fun from him, an escape from reality and nothing more from him. He then proceeds asking if Phineas ever truly had a friend who didn’t rely on his mechanics’ talent, if anyone that he knows or even doesn’t, ever asked him an invention for his own selfish needs. Then the ultimate question: if Phineas would stop building machines and cheering the fools around him, what is left? Nothing. Because everything was built up upon his talent and not his personality, people don’t care about him, either his ‘friends’ so called and that the pressure for Phineas will only grow. In a sense, his son is exactly like all the inventions he ever created and shared for others: perfect, imponent, fulfill their goal of delight everyone and then, after the fun is over, they all disappear leaving nothing but the desire for the following exceptional creation the following day, knowing there will be and expecting nothing less from the brilliant inventor. Because that is all the kid is. The man then proceeds that he knew eventually the kid would have actually visit him for explanations about him and he was ready telling them those revelations, those realities, because he’s been locked for the exact same reason: he used to exploit’s Phineas’ talent since he was really little and sold back his creations fixing some things up in the process since Phineas was still not perfectly capable of making perfect machines. He explains that he kept that inherited and incredible talent a secret from his wife and daughter and other than loving and praising Phineas’ skills, he would have eventually raised him and taught him all the ways to become a stellar inventor for him. All those words that reflects his reality, the old and the new one, without inventions, lead Phineas think back everything he has ever done, what people would ever think of him if would stop building, he questions if it was all true, all his father’s words, the fears he didn’t want to admit to himself, the people he loves, was it all just for attentions? Were people just seeing him as a never ending fun machine? Were they all lying? Using him? It was all his fault, he followed his father’s step and marked his life forever. Suddenly he has a breakdown and realizes people have surrounded him questioning what was wrong with him. Hesitant and in panic, Phineas runs away, anxiety and thoughts keep running and spinning around his mind; the fear of being left by everyone, alone, all for something that maybe he didn’t even wanted, borned by his father’s desire, all his joy was a lie, that was sure. He felt overwhelmed sometimes whenever people wanted more stuff from him, but his inventions disappeared, it was true, it was really like his creations, fun entertainment until the next day. His father's words hunt him the most, along with the thoughts of the people he most loves rejecting him for not being him, it was all a made up lie and it was all his fault. The final, tormenting thought brings him back in the prison, facing his father after his long monologue, without any words more to add or say, he submissively asks how he got arrested and the man replies that one day, since he was earning a lot of money and recognition for his son’s works between criminal’s organizations, he wanted to take him away with him and start a new life just the two of them. He says that Phineas was about four and his building skills were improving fast and decided it was time to leave his wife and daughter and raise his son under his custody. However, the little kid didn’t approve of his plans and wanted to stay all together as a family and the man, taken over by rage, knocked off the kid just in time to let Linda see the truth behind his husband’s lies and call the police to arrest him. When he woke up, the little kid saw his father being taken away and cried trying to reach out for him. Phineas finally arrives home exhausted, seeing his empty garden late at night give him a sense of a clouded dream. He wishes it could be. He goes sitting under the tree which had always comforted him, offering him a safe place under his feets his entire life and quietly and hurt, he finally cries. Whoever arrived here reading the whole thing, kudos and cookies all for you QwQ”

This is an astonishing masterpiece, because of course it is, it was made by you! 💕♥️💕 I love the editing; how well the scenes fit well together, the sync with the scenes and the song, and I really loved the masks with some of the scenes(like the window and door scenes that reveal some of the past and trauma Phineas experienced) it was all 💋💋💋! Also, I love the story; how people are actually used for their talents or looks or fame by others, and it comes to the realization that the only reason people are fond of a certain person can be due to a person’s “attributes” you could say, and that all the attention can be lost when it comes to the person truly revealing who they are, showing something that haven’t before, etc. It’s a sad reality, honestly. Also, I love how you made Linda and Alternate Doofenshmirtz a “couple” but I really loved how Linda saved Phineas from suffering in the hands of his father; I don’t know, it just seems like a great protective mother moment! Anyway, amazing work once again! I hope you have a good day dear 💕

Hhhhh it was also pretty long I’m sorry I have to reply now, nonetheless, thank you sososo much for your beautiful words under any aspect! I’ve put a lot of attention on the editing, even more then necessary even taking a lot of time and attention for the more complex masking, like the mirror parts you’ve pointed out, and I’m so happy you saw the effort behind it! For the story, I think I’ve made a really good job too; is something that reminds me of famous youtubers or artist or in general content creators and people would look up for them only for what they create and not the person itself, Phineas is a kid (here in the edit is about 12-13 still) he gets so much recognition and his naive nature doesn’t let him see how people truly behave around him the moment he starts to have a block and not building. His confrontation with his father was primarily a way for him to understand why he left but in the end is a revelation of others’ bad intention and exploitation, the same his father is in prison for as he points out. I loved making Linda’s part as well, basically Alt Doof was about to take away his child to exploit him without filters and the moment Phineas doubted that Linda came and saved him, I love protective mothers moment so much! QwQ Again I’m SO SORRY for replying just now, the other comment was way longer so maybe in a sense better to shorten my poems?
