Crazy how some people will say this is too much work but will take the time to bleach and pluck a wig 🤷🏽♀️ I love your hair ! You inspire me to take the time to enjoy wash day and it’s super easier with the aloe before washing ! Thank you love! I’ve seen less shedding and more growth in just a month of one wash and braiding my hair up and putting my clip ins on top instead of on my scalp ! Thank you ! Thank you !

After blending the aloe vera gel, let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. This will give the froth enough time to dissipitate, and the particles to coagulate. Then strain with a cheese cloth, stocking cap, or whatever thin piece of cloth that you have. You'll never have flakes or particles left in your hair again from using aloe vera.

As long as you stick to only the #0 and #3 your hair should be fine. Although Olaplex does not contain protein some of the conditioners do contain silicones and can prevent your hair from taking in as much moisture as it needs if not clarified thoroughly after use. The #3 can make your hair feel strong but a regular moisturizing deep conditioner takes care of that. As you have said it is best to research and understand a product for yourself before using it. FYI: While aloe vera helped your hair, some people get protein overload from the amino acids {protein} in aloe vera. I kid you not. Look it up if you wish.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate your advice, especially about detangling hair. I usually detangle while I am doing my schoolwork which involves a lot of reading . I am taking a lot more time with my hair to detangle and decided to use plastic gloves because my nails snag my hair. I have been natural for years and feel so much better since I stopped using the straightening chemicals with the lye. The big chop came first and it has been a constant journey learning products that were good for my hair which has been growing more so since I have begun to watch your channel. You are so correct when you speak about loving your hair and being gentle to it. I do not use protective styles at all but ever once in a while I might roll it up around the edges. Braids are in my hair when I am at home and like you I use conditioner and hair grease. The idea about no using water as a softener was great because my hair feels better without it. I am gray with some chestnut brown still in it (natural), and again thank you so much for your advice. Take care and keep up your attitude.

What helps me with aloe Vera is I don’t blend it smooth. I pulse like 2-3 times so it’s sill chunky and then strain so the particles are too big to go through the cloth and I never get them in my hair. I hope that helps!

Your hair looks gorgeous. Thank you for yet another relaxing video. It might not be your case but usually when an hair product has “Repair” in the title it means it contains some kind of protein. Also I do not think you strained your aloe wrong it may be the aloe reacting to the repair mask. You might get better result if you rinse your hair thoroughly or lightly wash shampoo it before applying any product after Aloe Treatment.

Hey gorgeous! Try spritzing with hot or warm water and using the cut up aloe vera pieces to slather onto your hair roots to tips. You can feel any chunks that separate from the leaf as you go. Or use a mirror as you go. They’ll be big enough to see. I do this on me and my kids it works. Its quicker, skip the blending and straining part. You clearly need that time. I hope that you try it and it works, and you can minimize your wash day.

Suggestions: cut away the outer layer of the Aloe, then place the gel in a medium/large strainer to ooze out its gel in your bowl... you will get the best of the Aloe with no flakes or gunk in your hair.. trust it works and yes sis I watch till the end and support with watching commercials too lol. Thanks for the content
Olaplex products aren't really protein treatments they focus on bond rebuilding. But yeah, using it when u don't need it can make your hair feel "too strong". Olaplex shampoo and conditioner also has silicones so if u don't clarify regularly you'll get buildup over time

Girllll I used to get so frustrated with them flakes but I stopped blending them to put in my hair. Use your hands and maybe a fork to crush them as much as possible and leave it to strain. You won't get as much juice but at least you won't get any flakes. After I do that I blend the remaining clumps to use as part of my skin care or pedicure.

Do you let the yellow "poison", which is an irritant, drain from your aloe vera before you blend it? l let it sit in water after cutting off the ends and into sections and just let it sit for at least an hour, but I'm extra so I do at least 12 hours, and then process it. I also got a nut milk bag for straining all my hair products. I don't get any residue or flakes from anything...ever! Get you some, boo! You won't regret it! 😁😁😁
