Traveling in the truck was nice but getting out seeing/hearing the water is great.

We used to camp at the upper Dosewallips campground in the '80s & 90's. It was our favorite place! So sad the road will never be repaired. Thank you for showing us and bringing back fond memories.

You are so lucky to have those memories, I bet it was a lot of fun :) Was it reservation back then or first come first serve?

@@AmericanOutbackAmazing it was first come first serve. So beautiful!

The Road washed out along the Dose River, then washed out later at Case Creek where the road now ends. We lost 2 great auto campgrounds due to washouts, they are now Backcountry camps.

I wish they would fix all of these washed out roads, not only the campgrounds are lost but access to hiking trails. The Elwha River road washout was horrible on the north side, so much lost :(

FYI None of the land in the video is part of an Indian reservation.

Is the Skokomish the only reservation on the east side?
@duckshaker3 жыл бұрын
@@AmericanOutbackAmazing It's the only reservation on the entire Canal.
