I met Ernest in a perchance situation and I haven't shared it online yet. He and his wife were in front of my wife and I in line for the Tame Impala show in ATL 2021. I couldn't believe my luck. I was getting so nervous to talk to him, but luckily my wife was incredible and went up to them. They were so kind to my wife and I. Later on we were going to get refills and the bartender let us know they were paid for. Across the bar his wife winked at us. His music is something that I'll always cherish and I'm so glad that my wife and I had that interaction. I wish I remembered to tell him how great Purple Noon is to me. Can't wait for this project!

I absolutely adored this short film. So beautiful. Ernest, if you ever find the time, you really ought to release all the little vignettes and songs from this doc, it's all so lovely and melodic. Love it! Been listening to you for 15 years! Here's to another! Much love to you and your Kin. Cathal - Ireland

Such a phenomenal mini documentary. It's not easy nowadays to really make that conscious effort to slow down and do what you know is right for yourself and your loved ones. In recent years, I've tried to do that myself with mindfullness and meditation, especially living next to big city. Glad you've found that too and I'm happy that you're creating projects from a place that makes you happy. 'Paracosm' for me is one of my all time favorite records. Everything about it is perfect, like a dream I never want to wake up from. I'd like to think this next project will carry a similar grace to it as well with regards to what I've been seeing from you these past couple weeks. Regardless though, I'm just glad you're enjoying the process and doing what you love. Cheers Ernest!

Can't express how much Ernest has influenced my life with his music, creative process, lifestyle, background.. whatever you want to call it, it's gotten me here to this point and I'm so glad he's still making music that will live on for generations to come. Washed Out forever.

Washed out is a soundtrack in my life. His music always evokes nostalgic memories for me. I listened non-stop to his first and second album when I was on holiday in Greece. So every time I hear his melancholic melodies and voice, it takes me back to those beaches and sunset nights. I am 41, musician and photographer and this beautiful documentary shows me that I have much more in common than I initially thought. I love his art work and hope to see more from that in the future!

I’ve been with your music from the start, and from that start, I always labeled it as my favorite musician in general, and that hasn’t changed. The aura you provide for your listeners musically, visually, and internally is something I’ve yet to find elsewhere; a peaceful combination. Thank you for channeling your world into so many artistic forms - beautiful documentary and locale!

I was at your Seattle show in 2022. It was magical, euphoric, and passionate. I was taken to another dimension with my eyes closed. When looking at you, I sensed something from you. I thought maybe you seemed down. Hearing you say now that you were severely burned out hurts my heart. I am sorry that you were suffering in silence for our enjoyment. I experience burnout too, as an introvert. It's exhausting. I can't even imagine going on tour. I thank you for sharing your art, your soul. Your music feeds my soul. Your music is euphoria and joy.
