i feel like putting the pod episodes on their own channel could help a lot with viewership. and put russell's name on it! that part's not about viewership he's just an essential part of the pod. love y'all
@geep20006 ай бұрын
I think this is the way to go long term, but if you look at Geoffrey Asmus (who also has a large youtube following) and his "You're an Idiot" podcast which started posting on its own channel, the number of views the new eps get are about 1/4 as much as they used to when they were posted to his own channel. Seems like people didn't know about the shift so maybe Gianmarco and Russell should give themselves a long enough runway of telling viewers for weeks to go subscribe to the new page NOW and then after a while, start posting the new eps there.

Russell didn't want his name on the pod.

4:37 when you started talking about old people being ready to die but not ready, i thought of this video i saw of this old woman. She had picked out her urn, and said she yearned for the urn. She looks at it everyday and drinks her tea beside it😂

Concerning the intro: as someone who is autistic, but only found out a few years ago… every couple months that I saw my older brother after he moved out of our childhood home, all I could say at first was whatever had changed about his appearance. “Your hair is shorter” “you shaved your mustache” “you’re spiking your hair” “you’re tan” and I always said it with a frown on my face- purely because it was a different face than what I was expecting, not because it looked worse. Change can be confronting. It’s unfortunate our reaction to it comes across as rude. But also, I get why it does. 🤦♀️

So weird hearing Chloe reference Streeter Seidell, I was such a huge Streeter Theeter fan back in his college humor days. Phantom of the office was the greatest. What a blast from the past I loved listening to this.

Those vitamin c packs that are marketed for common cold, like Emergen-C, doesn't help with common cold. On average, the cold lasts about a week, whether you take supplements or not. In _some_ studies, it's been shown that taking zinc as soon as you notice symptoms can reduce the intensity of cold symptoms, but that hasn't been definitively accepted as true. Some studies show it's no different than a placebo, while others show quantifiable and measurable differences in the control and experimental group. Also, Gianmarco at 40:25 sounding like he has royal skin lol

Pharmacist here, can confirm all of the above! Have counselled so many patients over the years not to waste their money on emergen-c. Literally word for word of what you said above. ❤

You are being bad theatre kids LOL: that was Mary Martin (not “Murphy”) who played Peter Pan for many years. She also originated the role of Maria in the original Broadway cast of “The Sound of Music,” and - cherry on top - was the mother of Larry Hagman, AKA “JR” PS: Enjoyed the podcast! 😊

As I am watching this I am like, "Why didn't SNL choose Taylor Ortega?" During the interview she wrote her own music and sang very well and was really funny. What is the criteria, exactly? Was she too "ethnic"??? SNL is still very racist, basically.
