I'm glad River Boat GOAT isn't afraid to take chances, like putting Haskins in the rest of the game. Whereas some coaches would keep Smith in as long as possible because they don't want to risk the loss. But his greatest trait imo is trusting his players. When it's 4th and 1 and his players want to go for it, ok. When they are pleading with him to throw a challenge flag, ok. He pushes them to their limits during practice and the off-season, but none of those guys even notice, b/c of that bond he's created. That foundation built on diamond, not cement.

Don’t agree. Haskins is still young and very very coachable. As well as amazing arm talent. I say take the time and try to develop him, see how that goes, and use that draft pick that you were talking about on a skilled position. Plus we still have Smith for a couple more years so there’s really no sense in drafting a QB now anyways.

@Eli Kramer both QBs you mentioned have happened to play on very shitty offensive teams. Scheme wise and Skill wise. Haskins is in the same situation, no talent around him and I personally don’t agree with our offensive gameplan. That doesn’t justify his under/overthrows and at times poor pocket awareness, but it just seems that people forget that Dwayne is a young coachable QB who doesn’t have the talent around him he needs to thrive. He had the whole infinity gauntlet at Ohio State and it got him in the end zone 50 times. I see a hardworking person who is almost ready to take the next step.

Chase Young is a monster! If he doesn't win, Defensive Rookie of the Year, I'll be surprised. Congrats to WFT for taking sole control of the NFC East. Now, they're one game ahead of the G-Men and two games ahead of Philly and Dallas. The NFC East race is certainly not over yet but this was a big day for WFT. Their final three games will be interesting. They have a tough game against Seattle, they have a winnable game against Carolina and they have a rematch against Philly, (who they beat in the first game of their season). The Niners meanwhile are all but out of the playoffs after losing their 5th out of their last 6 games. Next week, they have a winnable game against Dallas but after that game, they rematch the Cards and the Hawks, (both teams they lost to earlier in the year). It'll be tough but they can make the playoffs. Although, after everything that has happened this year with the Niners, they should probably shoot for an early draft pick.
