@@gumballwizard5289I wish I could say the same about my Stanford Cardinal. At least we have been to 5 and won 3 conference titles in the last decade. And a few Rose Bowl wins as well under David Shaw. It's obvious to me this coach is just going to have to really get the team to be more disciplined and more focused on one possession at a time. It baffles me that Stanford is literally the toughest DI school to get into academically, and yet they have guys who are lazy and not smart on defense. Like I would expect solid defensive playmaking just based off their smarts, but football isn't all about the smarts. It's everything put together. I just hope we can win a few games in conference. This guy is supposed to be a coach who builds up franchises and dynasty teams, so I hope that happens sooner than later for Stanford because otherwise I'd gladly take Chris Pedersen's coaching. I'll give Troy Taylor the rest of the year since this coach is supposed to be the fixer and dynasty building coach, but we'll see how he does these next few weeks. It might take a year or two to get this team growing, but it also could take another 20 years for all we know. Especially when Stanford has just as many other sports they're really good at.

That means our offense not only can be the BEST passing attack in all of CFB, but can also have a dynamic run game. 2 dimensional offense of this kind is pretty darn hard to stop.

@@blakebrown84 b/c he would have a big throw where the receiver would get tackled close to the endzone and then they would punch it in on the ground game. It's not how Washington usually attacks the endzone, so they must've been experimenting with their offensive attack to help them prepare for the future, I guess.

As a Huskies fan, I think this win is good for the team as they would find things to work on before the game against Oregon. Huskies are not a perfect team (no team is) and the kids should feel burdened a little entering a bye week to come out of it better prepared.

Huskies need to clean up their penalties! Play calling needs improvement, should have run the ball on numerous occasions. Missed out on points on the goal line twice. This could have been a much greater spread in the final score if they executed better. The break should give the Huskies time to work out their mistakes and rest for the big game against Oregon.

@@aidankeller1717 They have had issues with penalties in every game this year as the announcers clearly pointed out during this game. Not upset with the win, but frustrated with penalties and making poor decisions with some of the play calling. If they can learn from past mistakes from the Seahawks Super Bowl interception goof and prior Husky games, they would discern that there are times when they should run the ball, not pass it. This game was a defensive battle. Happy they came out of it on top. Go Dawgs!

Disappointed in Fisch on this one. Fifita was thriving in hurry up. Keep him going with simple routes instead most of the game it was huddle slow down the tempo. Let the defense get comfortable and make the kid think about it. This was a game they could have won if they hadn't been completely lethargic in the 1st quarter. Also colememan is a beast. He should be starting over Wiley.

Oregon probably has a better defense but the game is going to end up being a shootout. 12 points allowed per game is impressive but Oregon is playing the best offense in the country in 2 weeks. Not an easy task.

I'm just happy that Penix will finally get to play a full game and get let loose, rather than giving all the touchdowns to the runningbacks. Although I think that was on purpose, as this game allowed UW to prepare for Oregon in a real game scenario.

looked terrible??? do you know anything about football??? the first 3 times they had the ball they marched right down the field and scored touchdowns...and Penix was 18 for 20.....Arizona did a good job of taking away the long ball (which Washington has been known for all year), so Penix just picked them apart with the short passing game.... you really ought to pay better attention to what is going on.....
