You left the peninsula from Northport. The ferry line has a dock in Gill’s Rock for emergencies. It was used before Northport was built. You should come visit when the wind is making square waves in “Death’s door.”

We were there end of July and the lavender is in full bloom. Next time we will definitely stay on the island. Thanks for sharing.

One of only 5 sandless beaches? I am not certain that is true. Although this beach is quite large, if you travel up the east coast of the Bruce Peninsula in Canada, where the Niagara Escarpment soars above Georgian Bay, you can find dozens of these beaches with the polished limestone pebbles.

Haha I think he owns an island in Maine! There are a few celebrities around Door County though!
