Australia here. Of all the many things America has given to the world Baseball is surely the most beautiful, IMO this game is the absolute soul of sport. We have small leagues here but no real infrastructure to grow the game, cricket is just such a big sport here. I’m from Japan so off course I know Australia are getting better recent years. Also there was a legendary Ausie pitcher “Jeff Williams” on my favorite team Hanshin Tigers in NPB. Australia was 2nd in Asia at 2023WBC right? Wait until your countryman play in the playoffs. It is soooo exciting to watch your countryman competing in MLB playoffs. It’s like rooting your country in World cup soccer.

Just as football has become popular, it would be great if baseball could also become popular in the Asia-Oceania region. Also, if the NPB could acquire players not only from Japan but also from Australia, it would help revitalize the whole region.

Sorry for the Google translation.
