Lol I remember this game. Gibbs didn't want Ryipen to score on that play because the game was over. Think Knoll was little salty afterwards

Never understood coaches getting mad about “running up the score” at the pro level. Why would you want charity from your opposition?

Rypien had a lot to learn. He got better.

He was nearly perfect in ‘91. Actually finished in the top 5 for mvp votes.

But he regressed so badly in 92 because he decided to hold out in camp like a moron.

The Redskins began to die the day that oven dodger bought it. The NFL has been a disaster for over a decade. Let’s find more productive way to occupy our Sundays.

I totally forgot NBC dumped Merlin Olsen for Bill Walsh. Im glad he did games with Dick Stockton for CBS but Enberg and Olsen were Awesome. Just Behind Summerall and Madden and my personal favorites Charlie Jones and Len Dawson. By the way Bill Walsh sucked as an announcer. Didn't hold a candle to Merlin Olsen.

Why the hell dose Merlin Olson pick on Hoge so much?? “He’s slow”; “He can’t run outside”. JHC! I’m watching this a Skins fan and Olson’s comments on Merrill Hoge are irritating to me.

Great Offensive Line, Strong WR crew, Legendary Coach, but arguably the weakest team to win a Super Bowl in the 1990s.
