So with my job I have to do FMLA. HR told me I can also do PFML so then for that instance I would wait until I have baby to then file with SAW for the medical leave…right? I’m due 10/04 and this is all so confusing 😮‍💨

From my understanding but i would call the state to verify. But you do your work FMLA first then 4 weeks befor your FMLA is up you apply on SAW for medical & then it’ll ask when it starts & you’ll enter the date that your work FMLA ends & then when medical is up you have to apply for bonding!!!

You can try and apply for medical if you’re on bed rest or something before baby is born. However you can apply for medical after baby is born & than family leave after that

You have to apply for bonding after your medical is up. & it can take just as long to be approved which sucks 😭

Hi! its about a 3 week wait to even be approved. you're not supposed to apply until the baby is born, however we made my bfs account prior to our daughter being born, she was born may 10th and we applied that day, were still "pending" I am sorry I am just seeing your comment, as I have been off KZbin since she was born recently.

If I have been missing more work the last couple weeks from being sick (I am due in 3 weeks) when I send in pay stubs will they pay me based off of my last few weeks where I have worked way less than normal????

Hey i just seen this. You just send in your pay stubs. You can submit more than just the last couple months. But they go off what your job says too

Do you have the link to the paperwork for the additional 6wks for bonding? I got approved for the for 6wks for leave and my OB said she would fill out the paperwork for bonding but I can’t find it on their site and my dr office said they don’t can’t find it either

I just seen this. It took me almost 2 months to be approved & once approved i got paid that next Tuesday

It took less than a week for mine to get approved . First week , you do not get paid for . And it takes 2 weeks to get the money . I usually get 2 deposits in my bank at a time . The drs wrote me off work for the last 3 months . It helped us so much .

@@SheDntNeed first week is waiting week. Second week , the pay was deposited in bank by friday . Sometimes the checks dont show up for a week, then I would get 2 at a time .

you log into saw and create an account and than pick paid family medical leave. however you cannot apply this early youll be denied

You should let your employer know you’ll be leaving once the baby is born. You would have to apply after baby is born. The docs you need are the one that say medical form in the video but you would also need your ID and your Lay stubs for a couple months and submit those all. You have to submit on a computer. So just take a photo and Emil your self of all the baby work and submit those. If you do not bring the print out for the hospital to fill out you can send i proof of the baby birthday from the release paperwork and the little card you get in their bassinet

You should do your claims on Sunday and get paid tuesdays once approved
