I am from Seattle. Growing up there I took the beauty of Seattle for granted. I miss it now, I have been to Leavenworth several times it is a magical place all times of year. Allison, I live in Washington and this was our first year going to Leavenworth! We loved it so much - we did it Thanksgiving weekend to see the Christmas stuff but want to go back this coming summer! I’m glad you enjoyed our beautiful state!

I would seriously give anything to go to Washington state because my brother, his wife and my nephews moved there 6 years ago (they moved because my brother is in the coast guard and was stationed there). I haven’t seen them since they moved because we aren’t able to afford the flights. They haven’t met my youngest daughter yet who is now 5 years old. I love them and would seriously give anything to be able to see them again ❤❤❤❤❤

My old neck of the woods! Was just in Seattle (took mom to cancer doc). Was going to go to Leavenworth but stayed in Cle Elum. I live in Central Oregon so going home to Central Washington is often and easy. PS: The toy and hat store has not changed since I was a small child. I am 48.

Beautiful vlog! I’m on my vacay in Leavenworth right now and of course had to watch your tips. so many cute shops and architectural details. I’m off to Seattle tomorrow. Hoping to take the Bainbridge ferry if weather cooperates. I took the Amtrak train to both spots from Wisconsin. It was 40+ hrs onboard but part of the adventure and was a very relaxing start to vacation. I’m flying home in three days. Time, slow down!

This was so surreal to see this vlog. This is my neck of the woods. I know a lot of people think of Leavenworth as a Christmas town but we have gorgeous summers too. You hit a lot of my favorite places but I haven't had the lark for dinner I will have to try that. Next time you I suggest summer and to add Wenatchee and Lake Chelan to your list. Ohme Gardens is on the the way to Lake Chelan. There is also a lot more to Leavenworth that you wouldn't notice in winter.
