Wasps seem OP but it takes a lot of $$$ to get them there. If the other players went typhoons early, i don't think Flambass would have had the money to upgrade his wasps, level them up, and add onto the swarm.

the person with highest score get's strongest npc wave to deal with

The NPC army is the largest for the first player, as to handicap them a bit and give other players a chance to catch up.

1st place often faces the toughest AI. You notice it a lot in the end game when 1st faces the only AI while the rest of the players have a free round. 👍
