aliastheabnormal well this takes place at the time when it was unclear of what would kill a transformer and not kill it, I mean remember when Rhinox had an giant hole going through his chest but still lived, while in the time of TRANSFORMERS PRIME it was clarified that a hole in the chest means you’re scrapmetal, like Dreadwing... well I think the animators just loved messing with him after it was clear to them how popular he was but how they are gonna handle his “immortality” in the beast wars movie or trilogy... we will just have to wait and see.

@@Jarock316 that’s the point. In every continuity what can kill an transformer is different. In G1 transformers where more robots than the living beings they are portrayed as today. Now their nuts and bolts are part of their biology. In G1 the series saw the transformers survive shots that killed them in the movie. In beast wars we see wounds or conditions that would be considered fatal for any other versions. That means that the next transformer continuity could see the transformers survive massive explosions or get killed by a tank shot… it all depends on the writer.

Fun fact the writers turned Waspinator into the the chew toy because they hated his vocal buzzing and referring to himself in the third person. But that only endeared him to them and made him so popular with a fans that had saved him from getting killed off in the beginning of season 2. They were originally going to have terrorsaur survive and become a trans metal, but because waspinator was so popular they spared him.
