Dinobot's only real flaw is his eye lasers rarely connected, whereas Terrorsaur seems to be a much better marksman. Up close though... yeah, fighting Dinobot is akin to wrestling a biomechanical blender. Terrorsaur's biggest flaw is that he's not very bright.

Terrorsaur might've had one _slight_ reason for being so cocky and ambitious, and it shows in this video; he seemed to have a more diverse personal arsenal than any of the other Transformers in the show, at least in the first season. Dude had shoulder- _and_ wrist-mounted blasters, eye lasers, a pistol, and a nice-sized rifle. No one else carried this much weaponry around on a regular basis. Too bad for him that he didn't have the actual power or cunning on his own to match.

Getting rid of him let the writers use Tarantulas as the new backstabber and rival, who was both more competent and more interesting, not being a direct Starscream clone. I never got the sense Terrorsaur had a chance against Megatron, but Tarantulas always felt like an equal, perhaps even superior to Megatron in cunning.

In all honesty Terrorsaur is someone you feel bad for cause unlike Starscream he's willing to work with someone. Dank Starscream I found Terrosaurs along with Scorponok's deaths to be pathetic and stupid. They just all of a sudden just fall into the lava out of nowhere. I would had prefered if they stuck around. Same thing with Airazor and Tigatron. They just write off all these fun characters just to make space for new ones. Besides, they made Transmetal toys for both of them. So, why couldn't they just put them into the show?

Not really, however we can count on a few at some point like Terrorsaur then Tarentulas as main Starscream clones, however Black arachnia was a bit on that too since she also tried to get power against Megatron and at times teamed up a lot with Tarentulas, but other than the Starscream bit on Waspinator, the other Predacons weren't like Starscream at all. Waspinator was just kenny from south park. Skorponok was soundwave and Inferno was its crazy cousin. Betrayal is a lot on Decepticon / Predacon nature, however waiting for every misstep of your leader to defeat him is a lot on par with Starscream.

I guess I can see why the writers decided to kill Terrorsaur off in the second season. He was just a BW clone of Starscream, compared to other Predacons like Tarantulas and Blackarachnia who while just as treacherous, were more interesting and complex. But unlike fellow pred Scorponok, Terrorsaur at least got to have one standout episode before he was offed. And sadly it looks like he's going to be left out of the War for Cybertron Kingdom toyline.

The original Terrorsaur toy was kind of lame compared to how it looked in the show since we got some reissues of some transformers of beast wars they went being truly awesome, but well Tarentulas was more vicious than Terrosaur so he was a bit on par with some of the bests versions of Starscream (not particularly strong but malicious)

Yep, the transmetalization effect was stated by the writers to have been left in as a 'back door' in case they ever wanted to bring him and Scorpinok back. It just dawned on me that the reason the energon upgrade was able to defeat Megatron was because it made his weapons transform into stronger weapons. Before someone says "obviously" the point im making is that his weapons arent just super charged, theyre completely new. His shoulder cannons are huge in comparison to how they normally appear, and the reason we never see that rifle again is because its not actually a secondary weapon animators forgot to use, it used to be his pistol.

Hasbro Takara I only have one tiny question : Why we have'nt got another Terrorsaur figure in the mainline Transformers toyline especially in Kingdom? Why Hasbro? Instead repacking Arcee and Wheeljack, why not switch those repacks with Terrorsaur and Tarantulas, another character that we haven't seen in a mainline Transformers line since the original Beast Wars toyline. I would love to see Terrorsaur either in a Deluxe Class or a Voyager Class scale, maybe a Voyager Class would do because he will came with alot of acessories including his shoulder cannons, his signature gun, and of course his awesome looking laser rifle that he used to destory Megatron in the episode Power Surge. Plus his beast mode will be abit large with his wingspan. So Hasbro Takara, please give us a new Terrorsaur and Tarantulas figure in the future Transformers toyline.
