They are rugged compared to other Kalashnikov variants. Although, they are a work horse and will keep you alive if SHTF, if you train and get familiar with it.

I know Finnish AKs were the first AKs ever imported into the country didn’t sell very well was only until the SKS paved the way for 7.62x39 firearms then Chinese AKs took the market by a storm back in the 80s nowadays unfortunately AK47 and AK74 rifles and pistols have become very expensive. Interesting fact the AK-50 is finally been made is freakn cool wish I could get one day.

I like hearing and military opinion on the WASR 10. My 2020 WASR is an excellent gun. It’s everything I hope it would be. I previously had a Romanian M10 which I would consider about its equal. My 2008 build 10/63 was assembled poorly and I got rid of it.

I love Romanian AKs. They look and feel like what I imagined an AK should look and feel like. Rugged and not so pretty. Too many want an AR looking AK, and that is cool… just not for me.

I can save you some time. Romanian AKs are bottom of the barrel in fit, finish & quality control. I know. I have a ton of them. 🤠

Ironically ak’s do better with a terrible fit. Finish won’t ever matter it’s a fighting rifle, and the worst you’ll get from cugir qc is canted sights.

The barrel is not that deep. Biggest difference in AKs is the price. You are not necessarily getting much more for the money when you blow $2k on an Arsenal.

Good video man! I can recommend the Krebs custom Safety selector, i own 8 AKs of various flavors and they all are much easier to run when you can use your trigger finger to manipulate the safety. Keep up the good worked! Subbed.

I just finished my 10th AK build using Childers and Nodak receivers. From the Yugo, Maadi, Hungarians, and the Romanians. All of these are running from $700 to $1000. The last two are WASR-10s. All but one, an FEG, had the original populated barrels, and matching parts, except of course, the receiver. I think the Yugo M70B1 is maybe the best of the bunch. I have two ZPAPs, two OPAPS, and an Arsenal 7. The Arsenal cost about 3x the price of any of the others. All of these function perfectly. Maybe the imported WASR 10s have issues. From what I tell, theres’ not much difference in the parts. I would be perfectly happy the WASR 10s I’ve build from parts kits. Easy to jump on the bandwagon of WASR 10 haters, that don’t know what they’re talking about.

That’s awesome man, for me I’m brand new to this realm and slowly getting into it, I’ve had a opportunity to look at a ZPAP to potentially get and make a review for but honestly I’m up for whatever I agree there are levels to all of this but I’m just blessed to be diving into such a cool group of guns.

Sweet dude, aks are dope. Save yourself some time when flipping the safety off by hooking firing hand thumb around the pistol grip and using the middle and index finger of your firing hand to flip the safety down

As a Wasr-10 owner, wait a little bit and buy a Serbian Zastava Zpap. Nothing wrong with Wasr-10's the Zastavas are a way better value.
