Got mine to work but only with some modifications, namely, forcing the thumbscrews through the second set of holes and shimming the gasket with a piece of plastic. Mine are standard American style gutters you find everywhere here but the product had to be modified to work.

Isn’t this video talking about 2 different Wasserstein gutter mounting products? One for Solar panel & one for Camera. The mount on the gutter is same for both, but Solar panel install requires a different product with the extra piece attached to solar panel. The links that were provided for product only references the mounting product for the camera, not the solar panel. It was confusing, because it sounded like one product can handle both installs.

Thanks for your question! I only own the Wasserstein solar panel. So all the parts are only from that package. I’m sorry if my video made it confusing about the mounts. Of course the included gutter mount works for the solar panel. But I was curious whether the same mount would work for an Arlo camera… and it did. The solar panel only comes with one mount but it looks like Wasserstein sells the same mount separately for Arlo cameras. Hope I was able to help answer your question! Thanks for watching!

@@TheRenderQ Thanks. I got confused because your links to order product only refers to the mount for camera only, not the mount used for the solar install. You mentioned you only own the Wasserstein solar panel version. I assume you had also ordered the camera only mount separately, because at 1:38, both solar panel & camera were shown on gutters. BTW, great video! I also have Ring stick-up cameras and believe these exact same mounts can also be used for them.

1st of all, awesome video, it looks like the exact setup I'm looking for.!! For the mount, from your link to Amazon US, I found Amazon "Australia" has these too! (pheew) I have a EufyCam 2C myself, so it should work the same way.? With a ¼ inch tripod mounting hole.? Also, do you have a link to the "Solar Panel" used in the video.? Or at least solar panel specs needed to run properly.? Guessing 10W, 5V, 1A.?

I’m really glad that you enjoyed my Arlo gutter mount video! You should be able to use this mount on any camera with a standard 1/4” tripod screw hole. There is a link in my video description to the mount I used in the video. You can get specs off of the product page. Hope this helps!
