Do you know if you can use a micro usb splitter to power multiple cameras through one ethernet port?

I would not think so honestly. It could work tho

what kind of PoE switch did you use exactly? can you help me with the model or link plz , i couldn't understand some specs when searching for them.

This is great. Unfortunately, was hoping to use the ethernet instead of wifi due to the location on one camera being right near a dead spot outside of the garage. But, at least I learned what POE does.

you can always add a Wifi extender using that network cable. Run power from an outlet.. The wifi extender with direct connect will give you much stronger connection

If you still have to use Poe then what’s the point? I was hoping to use a power line adapter

Sorry, I stopped watching at 3:53 when you said you were still using wifi for internet. That's not what I was looking for. Please add some kind of notification to make this statement so others looking for the same don't waste 4 minutes. Otherwise, great content.

Sadly that's just how this device works. It only gives the Wyze Cam V3 power and not internet access. So you still have to have WiFi to get internet on the V3 but you wouldn't need the power adapter with this PoE Adapter. I think it's a limitation of the Wyze Cam really.

@@BigCVlogs restating the functionality limitations doesn’t really address the misleading headline.
