2.08 “Leave the leaves!” omg my favourite line….I would love to play this on a loud loop to my noisy neighbours who use their blower up to 7 times A DAY. The native birds that used to make their nests in my trees have HAD to leave to find quieter nesting spots. Btw, I leave all my leaves and weeds on-site. Leaves make a plantabulous insulating layer free (not in plastic) mulch, and hold any rainfall which soaks and is stored in the ground, instead of going into the stormwater. I love your work Brad and your funny ways of getting your points across…..makes me remember them all as they are so 🔥🌴❤️

Great civilizations have existed quite well in deserts over the ages. Why? Because they knew how to use what water they had, with their irrigation and canals and such. We, in our desert southwest, are not one of these. We don't know how to utilize water, we just know how to use petroleum, to run pumps and do all kinds of other things that are not possible or sustainable in the long or even medium run (really, thats starting to look true even in the short run). This man is a voice crying out in the wilderness. Perhaps we will one day listen to him, and become one of those great desert civilizations, instead of just a gas guzzling flash in the pan.

Well done. WSMG is above the curve. Take a tour of WSMG demonstration site off Dodge Rd. Walk around Dunbar Spring neighborhood to see this in action in Tucson.

Solar clothes dryer! I have had one in use for 9 or 10 years. And it's my choice. The hard part is finding clothespins that stay together and hang on! I usually keep an eye out at yard sales, estate sales, auctions, and flea markets. China made ones are not good!

Where would I find help designing an outdoor bathroom/laundry room that can be used year-round in a cold environment? I had the idea of adding a greenhouse and putting it in the greenhouse. I also want to start a dog training/kennel business and would need to recycle dog waste effectively. I need help to get that started by coming up with design plans. I live in Indiana and need budget-friendly DIY options.

Natural soaps are OK. There are online resources that determine which soaps are OK for greywater irrigation systems. ;)

21 minute "What is a kilowatt hour?" A single, 60 watt light bulb consumes a kilowatt of electricity in 16 hours of use. That is 1000 watts, or a kllowatt. Utilites that charge 15 cents per kilo watt, are charging you 1 penny to use a light bulb for 1 hour. if they charge 8 cents p[er kilo watt, you pay 1 cent for 2 bulbs to run per hour.
