Your system is really good, thanks for posting the video. You seem to have devised a way to burn the oil very efficiently and cheaply. I too use waste motor oil for heating. I have made a boiler with 2 gas bottles of different size and an alaska burner from USA army, WWII, tent heater. The heater heats all the water for my underfloor heating and a 300 litres hot water tank all winter long for free. Happy days. All the best

idk if anyone has said this but add an on off valve above the control valve so you don't have to re-adjust it every time you use it

Hi Jjulian its very very good actually. the flame you see in the video takes about 2 litres per hour. Im currently making a bigger burner as i have so much oil to get rid of Glynn

hi again thanks for the response. im actually making one patterned on your design, ive actually fabricated a heating disk as you suggested with the concavity in the middle. It did give out a flame but not as intense as what you have. i think the problem is the blower i have underneath .it might be causing a "counterflow" on the drip of the oil thats why its not dripping as consistently and im not getting the burst of flame. I also want to know why youre using 2 pipes for the fans?

Hi Glynn, great design, Question: do you have 2 air pipes, one on each side? or is it a single pipe running across the stove. BTW very nice work. Cheers
