I agree, there's so much to explore with Meliodas 3,000 years ago. In general the holy war has left a lot of questions unanswered in my opinion. For example Chandler and Cusack. Why were they absent from the holy war? To resist the temptation turning back into the original demon? Were they doing something else to contribute to the war off screen? Were they not allowed to fight because of their punishment? Also Grayroad, where was she? Did Gowther's spell unintentionally affect her too? Cause it doesn't make any sense for her to suddenly be a commandment when the seal broke but then to seemingly not exist during the holy war. And I aware that we only saw the war through the perspective of Gloxinia and Drole, but that's just it. Why couldn't we see the war as a whole? Cause I feel like these questions could have been answered if we did

That’s one thing that pissed me off . They never gave him an actual backstory when he was evil and feared. Like his first reaction with Elizabeth , did he attack her ? ??

I'm wondering that too! We get one panel of them interacting, and I have got to assume "Kill the goddesses" Meliodas attacked first, but at the same time, he's apathetic by the point of their meeting, but maybe not? Too many questions!

@@thatguywithapencil I like to have the headcanon that Meliodas charged at her without another thought and she just does Ark and pushes him back constantly until he's too exhausted to talk from all the Arks and being blown away. He probably saw Elizabeth as the first goddess that did not have the intent to kill and would be too embarrassed that he was pushed around by a goddess clan member despite being the leader of the 10 commandments. Eventually, he would get to talk to her, asking her about her motivation, why she even wanted to help despite the war between the two clans. And so on and so forth

Considering Escanor could do near fatal damage and Zeldris healed quickly after that, I have no doubt he would not have too much damage. But we also don't actually know what Elizabeth's unique magic was. As a goddess she did have Ark magic, but we never learnt if she had something more that added on to the backstory of the name of Bloodstained Ellie

That's what always irked me about things like Gowther's lover, Bloodstained Ellie, Merlin loving Meliodas, a lot of that honestly sounds way too interesting to be as short as they were shown/mentioned. I mean, we saw more from Rou and Gerheade ffs

@That Guy With A Pencil I hear ya, it bothered me too. Meliodas being one of my favorite characters, seeing how ruthless and cold he could be made me want to see an arc about him. Such a shame we didn’t get one. Buuuuutt on the bright side since I am making a manga myself, this helps me see what the fans want from a character, and story. I hope I can deliver on that regard. True! It would be cool learning about his ascension. Zeldris was made leader because his brother left, we don’t know how Meliodas got the role. That’s something I want to see too! We fall right into the middle of their love, we don’t get to see it develop. That honestly makes me wonder if they even knew about combat classes back then.

Elizabeth did some talk no jutsu with prime meliodas, Which made meliodas fall in love with Elizabeth. That's how everything happened, the reason meliodas felt a hole world of pain is because she bitched slaped him after he bullied estarosa and zeldris

That's actually pretty likely. We know Elizabeth does have emotional manipulation strong enough to override Supreme Rank Demon Orders, so its highly possible she empathetically smacked him into submission.

Ban, you're right, but I honestly want to see more character interactions. Learn more about group dynamics in the past considering they changed a lot. Actually get more time of them being legendary knights due to how important that is for their worldwide perception in season one. Also, not really for just the Sins, but honestly just to see what the world and its stance was back then.

They never wanted to make this series work. The animations,the promotions and the entire season 3 story line is disgustingly sabotaged. Just imagine the manga was adapted like Naruto with the fillers, the prequel,the sequel are the formula of great animes.

I highly doubt it. Now that we are in Four Knights there is no reason for Nakaba to regress. Especially since he said Seven Deadly Sins is the story of Meliodas, and thus he believes he doesn't need a heavier backstory chapter.

Its a 50/50 between him and Elizabeth. Most people, myself included, lean towards Elizabeth because we saw her pull up on a Meliodas in Assault Mode, while Mael pulled up and ran from a Demon Mark Meliodas. We haven't seen the full extent of either, which is the main issue.

I thought that too, but look at AM Mel with Zel in chapter 271. He looks just as cold and indifferent as he does in Demon Mark while in Assault Mode. That what leads me to believe there is a whole offscreen character shift.

He's also called the goddess clan strongest fighter, but it's honestly up in the air for now. She wasn't even one of the Four Archangels, but managed to hold off two Indura at once while Ludociel, who is normally stronger than Mael up to late noon couldn't even handle one. Meanwhile Mael just has statements and his one offscreen fight where he ran from. It honestly depends.

This is one of the reasons I lost interest in seven deadly sins Right after finishing the manga I realised there were so many arcs in SDS which could've been added to make the story more interesting like a proper introduction of all clans and the major battles when meliodas was the leader of the 10 commadments It's just feels sudden All characters die meaningless deaths They should atleast have some reson like the deaths in Naruto shippuden

I think the story does need a bit more meat to it, and I think that's the cost of dropping us into a fully developed world rather than a growing one. We're sort of plopped in the middle of a story that we can't see all of because we don't have time. I'm find with the cost, but I do want more. And I have a weird stance on SDS deaths. I think the false sense of security set up by the meaningless deaths make the actual deaths land much harder. Fraudrin, Escanor, heck even Zaratras' second on screen death (but mostly Escanor) actually managed to land because they died and stayed dead. The emptiness left by their deaths works for me.
