Six new Rajya Sabha MPs took oath in the House on Monday. The new members from Assam who took oath are Pabitra Margherita of the BJP and Rwngwra Narzary of the UPPL. From Kerala, Jebi Mather Hisham of the Congress,
Sandosh Kumar of the CPI and A. A. Rahim of the CPI(M) took oath.
From Nagaland, S. Phangnon Konyak of the BJP became the new member of the Upper House.
