For everyone that uses very soft lenses or that can't get this trick to work, look straight in your eyes at the mirror and tilt your head down as much as you can while still being able to see what you're doing, this way the sclera will move upwards and you can lightly drag it with your pointer finger downwards so the lens breaks free, then pinch it and drag it out. Hope this helps

After 1.5 hours of struggling, I finally came across this video and removed the friggin left contact lens after stretching the outer corner (making my eye smaller) + stretching upper and lower eyelids + glancing to the inner corner with maximum strength. it's now 3:30am and I can finally sleep. UPDATE (10 Aug 2024) I did a double eyelid surgery 1.5 weeks ago and my left contact lens got stuck (AGAIN) because i didn't have eye drops with me. THIS METHOD IS STILL THE WINNER AND MY DOUBLE EYELID IS STILL THERE.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH, THIS HAS SAVED ME A VISIT TO THE DOCTOR. This wont work unless your eyes are extremely dry from wearing them all day. If contact lenses came out every time you turned your eyes and blink, they wouldnt be doing their job.

The comfortable method I use is to look to the inner corner of my eye, use my finger to slide the contact over to the white of the eye, then pinch it with the sides of my thumb and index finger to avoid pinching near my iris and/or using my nails up against the eye.

This didn't work for me but I know it works for most people. I think it is either my eye shape (my eyes are heavy hooded and very narrow near the inner corners) or it could be that they are pretty cheap and big soft lenses for Halloween but I was able to get them out after about a half hour of sheer determination when in the past it has take me much longer. The steps I took to finally get them out were using clean dry hands but a more wet eye, I put contact solution right into my eye, the drier the eye, the more they suction cup to the eyelid (crying is probably also an option lol). Then you have to hold your eye open using one hand so you can see the entire lense, get really close to the mirror in a comfortable position, look in the mirror and tilt your head up but don't look up, look straight into the mirror, take deep breaths and try to detach yourself from what you are doing to over ride the instinct to blink(this is very important). Use your thumb and index finger in a pinching motion with as much pressure as you can and slowly and deliberately grab the lense. You can move the lense to the inner corner or outter corner of your eye a bit as you are grabbing the lense to try to loosen it a bit. You should be able to grab it if you can override the instinct to blink.

I've been wearing contacts for about 25yrs & 100% it's a sensitivity issue in the beginning (your eyes NATURALLY/Automatically want to close) everyone blinks to protect your eye... best thing to do is WITHOUT contacts in your eyes try LIGHTLY placing your finger on your eyeball ( obviously CLEAN your Hands 1st ) you should be able to do this by using your middle finger to pull down your bottom eyelid & then placing ( very lightly touching ) your index finger to your eyeball once you do this a few times & DON'T BLINK ( yes its Hard at 1st ) then you'll be able to easily put your contacts BOTH in or out. To take them out & put them in you do the same thing... pull down your bottom eyelid with your middle finger & then place the contact onto your eye using your index finger / to take them out you just add in your thumb & slightly pinch the contact ( if it's dry & sort of stuck SLIDE it around using your index finger PRIOR to pinching ) Best of luck to everyone , PRACTICE / over time you'll get it.

You can also drop a tiny droplet of water in your eye and the contact will go up but and blink it will come back down and then you just wanna use your fingers and pinch it and it’s way more effective than just using your fingers dry

I robbed my eyes at 8am this morning and wasn’t sure if the lens had come out or was up in my eyelid someone but have spent all day fiddling with my eye making it sore and tried this and it appeared from wherever it was and came out 🎉

@@ilove.taylor you have to look at far as you can . So if you’re trying to get the right, one out, look as far left as you can, don’t move your head just try to look as far left as you can, and then blink.

I just got contacts today, thought the Dr. was on point, when i put them in, I've been trying as well for the last 30 minutes. Now it time to go to bed and can't get it out! but I just saw your video and tried your method , only got 1 out, the other won't budge.
