This video got me interested in looking up info about Secretariat and I'm in love! What an amazing horse! I've watched the video of the Belmont Stakes so many times and every time I get so excited when he starts pulling ahead. Amazing story! I loved hearing about all these horse movies I adored as a horse-obsessed kid. Thank you!

That part where the horse runs down the hill on the cliff, maybe a little exaggerated, but their are horses who would do it. Ginger is one of them, especially if you had her trust, I mean their is no where she would not go. One time she walked right onto a rock, I thought she'd just step over it, it was crazy and amazing at the same time as I never seen a horse do some of the things ginger would do. She could walk threw creeks, or up hills, anywhere. Saddlebreds are warriors, theres almost no where will they wont go for you.

Despite how hot saddlebreds can be, they'd make great war horses for their amazing courage, thats the kind of thing you need in war. As I know asbs were used in the civil war.

You have to go to the American west and see ranch horses. They are tough and versatile. Then of course the mustang's are very hardy. The best rider I've ever seen in the movies, Robert Duvall. The worst, Danny Glover. Both in lonesome dove.

he has no clue about what is special about some of these scenes. how can a fat (sorry) owner of a bronx (?!) stable rate moive scenes. being an horse expert myself - very unimpressive .. 2/10
