But why wouldn't he still be. A year ago he died, and he'll be admired & respected in 100 yrs. Timing is Everything tho if he had lived to Celebrate his wife's 70 Years holding the British Commonwealth together: He, Prince Philip may have " Spoken out, in disbelief that all 30 countries of Nato are so united in helping the Ukrainian people against Mr. Putin but not enough to take risks to Cross over and Save Lives. He might be furious esp. with England, France & Germany and wonder Aloud as to Which Country is the most afraid of getting person ally involved. One can see and hear him, and no one would stop him. Most Canadians, I think, would So Welcome That Interference. Newfoundland maybe 1st. again. Except we would all have to wait for Our Federal Govt to Stop playing Politics with all the rest. Timing is Everything. If the Royal Laws had been changed 1 generation earlier; and the 1st girl or 1st boy inherited the job of Queen Elizabeth 2nd. If the Princess Royal were chosen, England would be a different country. Or if Succession were a little fairer & more flexible. No one person will ever again be able to Wear the Crown with it's inhuman , unbearable weight: as Queen Elizabeth 2nd has. Especially not in this time in history, Maybe it is a Life that needs 2 Sets of Crowns and their Families. No we Canadians, who were born here don't want to Ever Abolish the Monarchy. Obviously especially those with any British ancestry. And especially the older generation. Prince Harry is Needed by his Country. His father , set a really bad example and his brother Needs even deserves his help. Now. The system of Succession needs even more Changes. Maybe if All women including the Queen could Interfere and Make the Peace between All 3 Princes: Charles , William and Harry. Then provide Harry the security and protection he Deserves for himself and His Family . Even if his father Prince Charles or his grandmother the Queen have to Pay for it Themselves. Prince Harry and his Family, : Should be as important to both of them, as Prince Andrew & his family. Children should not have to suffer or be deprived because of their Parents Actions. All families seem to be a little crazily broken because they are humans not Gods. That includes Royal families. Someone once said Only if You Are Perfect in Every Way, can You Criticize and Condemn. So maybe the British Public and the American public should Grow up & Evolve and Learn to Live their own lives Well which will take enough work & time that they will be too busy to Even Want to Live the lives of Entertainers or Royalty.

@@chercher304 The constitutional monarch as Head of State represents all citizens regardless of their political views in the country and the monarch must remain politically neutral. A monarch that attempts to change the law will be viewed as being political and as being an absolute monarch. Throughout history any monarch that made attempts at political power got executed, assassinated, or gotten the monarchy abolished. Russia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Yugoslavia, Portugal, Iran, Nepal all had monarchies at one time. It would behoove you to know why all those monarchies no longer exist. Kudos to those representatives of various regiments from the armed forces and those in purple who formed that “guard of honour” for such a long time- I’m sorry that I don’t know who those in purple were representing, hopefully I’ll find out. It was a little bit odd an uncomfortable to watch the VIPs arrive and not acknowledge them. I assume it was something to do with protocol, but it still didn’t feel right. I guess it would have taken too long for those entering to acknowledge each one individually, but I can kind of imagine the Duke of Edinburgh tipping his hat to them if not saluting - again it would have been awkward to keep walking past them and saluting them at the same time. Of course they would have saluted him first, but it just looked weird . I hope that in future things can be arranged so that it doesn’t give the appearance that the VIPs were just ignoring their presence, I sure that the guests must have been instructed to go straight in and not acknowledge their presence. There were a few who glanced at them but I think the bank of photographers on the other side distracted most of them. Boris looked. a bit of a mess, but he doesn’t ever seem to be able to tame that hair and his suit somehow looked a bit untidy too. Ah Princess Anne doing the right thing as usual bless her.
