My husband teases me that i'm quilting in the dark. When i can't see what i'd doing.... like white on white or black on black... i turn off the over head lights too.

Hi. Are you using the 100 weight thread in both the top and the bobbin thread? And do I need to adjust the tension on a home machine?

I use prewound bobbins that are 60 wt. For a longarm, you always need to adjust your tension. For a domestic machine, you will need to follow the manufacturers suggestions.

You can definitely do microquilting with the Simply Sixteen. Just increase the number of stitches per inch if you use regulated or you can use the manual setting.
