Rule says u should not attach anything extra to glass. If the tinted glass comes by factory itself it is fine. Meaning u have to buy expensive cars if u want tinting

motor vehicles act 1989 article 100-2 states that front and rear glass visual transmission of light can be not less than 70%, and for side is 50%. which means tinted glass is acceptable within those limits-dont know if traffic police are trained to read motor vehicles acts and make commuters aware of changes if any in regulations.

Authorities and Traffic cell and concerned Dep.,RTO should take strict legal action as per law and MVR against Tinted Glass vehicles whether it is a small car ,or Big Car ,or too much EXPENCIVE CAR without any discrimination since law is equal to all and All should follow it equally and no one is above the law therefore no one should take law in hand .Everybody should follow Rules and Regulation and Road dicipline as Dicipline is a way of life which we live in a civilsed Society.

Filming having any percentage of tint is not permissible by law. Only, the tinted glass provided by the manufacturer is valid. Even, we can not use curtains on car windows which blocks the visibility.

As per the RTO guidelines, you can get car glass films if you ensure that the minimum visibility of the side glasses is 50% and that of the rear and front glasses is 70%. This policeman do not have right to remove the glass films. You have the video so get him in the court.
