Combat ships are so world war 2 era technology. They are huge, slow moving targets especially with no missile defensive capability than a few guns and mortar. Kenya can instead invest in numerous missile launching u-boat type mini submarines for guerilla-styled attack and ability to maintain suppressive fire during warfare. Ukraine, a country with no navy has vastly destroyed Russian navy assets and shown the world that a nation no longer need big ships to make a dent in a superpower's ability to destroy you. Missile defense and drones are the norm today.
