They look nice, better price point, and are much lighter. I think Jerry gets a lot of unnecessary hate. This is a collaboration with mainline Fear of God not essentials line so prices are going to be higher. Quickly people forget how his Nike FOG were $350+ in 2018. Yeezys were all expensive retail wise, and Adidas plus any high fashion retail are high. Adidas messed up with the rollout. The announcement should have happened once they had the first collection finalized just like nike did with Jerry.

Well said although it’s not a mainline collab as athletics is its own category. 3 pillars of fear of god are mainline, essentials and athletics. Athletics will continue on if the adidas deal ends.

@ Same and it’s with essentials which is where the majority of $ that fog makes comes from. I’ve loved the clothing and all the silhouettes from athletics. I think the hypebeasts were expecting fog x adidas to replace Yeezy but Jerrys designs are more subtle and clean. I love Yeezys and futuristic looking designs but the overall fear of god aesthetic is a vibe that is for sophisticated palettes imo. If you have a good fashion sense you can combine pieces from all 3 pillars and they work.

Thanks for making this review of both, I’m sure there’s a good number of people who are on the fence because they have no idea what they’re like. 🙏 I’m probably not getting either of these, rather waiting on what’s his next lifestyle model. That said, I like the mids/highs better, even though I usually like lows better for most other models.

the Fear of God 1 starts out snug but after 3 or more wares the shoe spreads and if u went up a full size the Toe box will start to cave in
