I have these and I live at the beach. Let me tell you, the open box design is absolutely horrible. The build quality is cheap. They sound well for the money, but if you live in difficult surroundings, like sand, or even mild exposure to water, the design philosophy falls flat on the floor. Also, the quality of the earpieces is not in line with the industry standards, or what you would expect from a company that claims to build audiophile grade IEMs. The Battery is also average. Overall, it is a heavily mixed bag, with decent sound and everything else poor. ANC is good. 7/10

True, the open design is just a novelty touch for aesthetics, nothing else.

Anything on the beach is terrible. The dust will eventually get caught between the hinges. You can get a case for these Moondrop buds, they're a little expensive at $10 but they're better than nothing. Cheap build quality at this price is also common sense. IEMs offer better build quality but they're always wired and they don't come with ANC (some options have BT attachment but they're not cheap).

Such an underated topic. "Best sounding budget tws" (with some practicality). Wish there was anyone talking about it, starting from KZbin to reddit there's barely anybody covering it, like come on already. Such an untapped topic. So far in my online digging, in budget I've found Skullcandy eco buds, EarFunAir preety good. I just wish somebody to cover it man! Ughh!

Open box concept after 6 mth of daily usage is a no no. Right ear bud also stop charging after 10-30sec (maybe from dropping🤷‍♂️). Zero tech support. Otherwise it’s a good low budget TWS when it’s in the 20usd range

If you want bass, detail and warmness then you're going to have to EQ as nothing really in that price range provides that. Closest I can recommend for a warmer bassier IEM that still has decent detail would be the tangzu fudu verse 1.

No, not quite. Most of them you have to import, and if you want to make your IEMs wireless, there are some Bluetooth adapters that you can try. But they lack features.
