I just got the Space Travel buds a couple of days ago. Here are my first impressions. When listening in a quiet controlled space they sound very good. Detailed, musical and pleasing. Connectivity was a breeze, and I settled on the Reference choice in the app. When used outside on a busy street even with ANC engaged they are unenjoyable, and underwhelming. It comes down to a lack of headroom in the volume department. Even indoors they are just barely loud enough when paired with an iphone, and leave no headroom for songs that may be mastered at a lower level. So, in my opinion the Space Travel are good for certain use cases, but travel is not one of them.

Actually there is game mode. You just need to tap 4 times and it will say "game mode" and if you tap 4 times again it says "music mode". The music mode is the standard when you remove the tws from the case. And this mechanism works on both sides.

Interesting to see a good ANC TWS at that price. I guess the compromise is the mic. Based on that sample, it sucks hard. It is barely audible. Other than that, it looks good especially that decal and casing.

My buddy just got his pair yesterday and when he told me he was using them when we were on the phone I was really surprised, sounded just like he was using the mic in his phone! Idk if they fixed it with software or what but I was impressed

I think it sounds bad because it's unedited after a whole video where audio received some very proper treatment - a comparison is just naturally, unavoidably made and yeah it doesn't sound remotely as good as whatever mic+post production Kenneth is using at his studio

I have these and they are fantastic! I have Neekocake before, comparing them and this Space Travel is a huge improvement. My only gripe was no lid and buttons were tap when removing the buds. Might be release a case on these because Neekocake have a case available even in 3rd party sellers

Just bought these for 20 dollars in 9 9 sale! I just tested it out while walking in the city and ANC is good enough. The background noise is reduced enough. The wind noise though. It can't remove it but for the money I paid I can't complain.

Got a pair and can agree that sound is great for the price. ANC does not pass the working in a factory test. I was worried about the buds falling out of the lidless case while in a pocket but so far it hasn't happened. Definitely decent beaters.

@@tendousj not tws, but Sony wh3 on ear does, so I assume successors including the tws does aswell. And obviously I'm not making any measured claims, just my experience from my workplace where ear protection is not required and we don't have to shout to communicate but still noisy machinery.

I recently started looking for wireless buds for my morning routine since I really disliked the wire of my current ones just dangling about while running and "tugging" at my ears, but didn't really want to just spend 40+ bucks on a pair with decent-ish quality. This pair being 25 bucks certainly puts them on my radar, as it won't really be that big of a deal if I damage or lose one of them. The battery life, which would arguably be the biggest con, also doesn't really bother me, since I'll only really use them for 1,5 - 2ish hours per day.

This might be the one replacement buds I've been waiting for so long! I've still been using my Soundpeats TrueFree+ wireless since God knows when and couldn't find a pair which comes close to how TrueFree+ does Spatial and Directional Sound, and how every instrument is an individual, and bass is just right to make epic music feel "epic". Dual Drivers really make a difference. I might try this, thank you! ❤ but totn between this and Soundpeats Engine 4, which is a Dual Driver and LDAC Support

You just sold me this TWS. Critical listening is my hobby and I use a serious setup to do this hobby. Blessing 3 is my daily driver paired with Fiio M11S as the source, so my standard is quite high in terms of sonic performance. But boy, this little cheap plastic (I hate the build quality btw) TWS manages to impress me! For 25 bucks, the sonic performance of this TWS is next level imho. Despite the build quality, this TWS is pretty solid, trust me and Ken. I have tested so many high tier audio equipment, and Space Travel doesn't disappoint

This definitely made me consider the space travel as a more budget option that it wont be too much of an issue if I ever lose it or it stops working after a year or two. How do you think does it compare to the Edifier TWS 1 pro? I stupidly lost the buds and was looking for a replacement for it. Do you think that the space travel is better than it (mainly in the technicalities)? I was originally considering the soundpeats engine 4 at 37 USD but this is definitely a tempting offer at almost half the price and the added ANC.

I tried the Space Travel and returned then as I preferred the sound signature of the Nekocake. The latter seemed louder and more full whereas the Space Travel sounded like an average set for $20. As I didn't initially give the Nekocake a fair chance the 1st time, may try the Space Travel again for a long term test.

space travel actually have gaming mode of 55ms if i remembered it correctly. U can use it by tapping 4 time on both right or left earbuds

@@GraviQuate yeah, on gaming scenario it's quite useless, even real deal low latency with dedicated bluetooth dongle only could push the latency to 130ms on gaming. Because even wired iem still got latency of around 80-100ms, so just sum that up. We still got around 150ms on gaming for space travel. But that still rough calculation, it's depend on what game you played

(cmiiw) so there's currently no setting for it in the app. Hope they update it, because sometime the game mode didn't really keep the latency, somehow it goes pretty late in long duration. but when i re turn on it, it goes well again (srry my english was bad)

@@reyhany.i8014 i don't really use it for competitive games like fps games, i have a wired iem for that but for casual and single player games i use the space travel so i can walk around the room without having to take them off everytime. it ruins the immersion for those games though without the gaming mode so it still helps for those kinds of games. as for the latency going high after a while, i haven't experienced that yet on my pair. maybe it's a bluetooth interference issue? i've had mine suddenly go very low res

if sound quality is your priority, Moondrop Space Travel is second to none. Up until you can afford Buds 2/2 Pro or APP Pro 2nd Generation.

I know my opinion is gonna be soooo case-specific, but that touch sensor is really sensitive that when I wear it with my helmet on top of it, it sometimes register the brush/pressure from the foam inside the helmet as a touch, resulting in random play/pause. Other than that, as a person who just knew what TWS is and have Moondrop Space Travel as the first one, it's pretty good imho.

ANC was unbeatable for the price and it helped me A LOT to sleep in noisy airplane cabin. how's the moondrop ANC compares to QCY-L2? Got these buds for running, good value. But this mic quality is NOT acceptable for online meetings lol, you are barely able to hear what you say. It takes a lot of energy for the receiver to decipher the audio. If my colleagues would be using this, I would tell them to please puck up a decent headset.

No reply from support Right ear bud did not charge pass 15-30second. Did reset but still doesn’t charge Open box format after 8month is not the cleanest. ANC did block out some lawn mower engine noise. Good value but won’t buy them again with other decent budget TWS such as P30i and soundpeats clear in the sub $30 range

Hello can you make a comparison of this and soundcore p2 mini. They're both have close price range. And I don't mind having anc. I only care about battery and good sounds. ANC is just an icing for me

I wish you might compare it with Tranya T10 or T50, given usd25 price point. I feel Tranya T10 is better than those soundpeats and haylou w1, it feels they are muted compare to Tranya T10 or better now they have T50.

I am having a hard time picking a tws earbuds, but after watching your review, I am completely sold and bought the space travel. I must say, this is one heck of an earbuds, really a bang for the buck. I really like the sound qualy, the fit, the EQs, all the features especially the anime voice, daaaamn. You're really getting more than what you paid for. Cudos to your review man, keep it up.

The sound was yeah yk its like what he say its was good but moondrop space travel had somany bug like sometime the sound just flickering and the most annoying is sometime even the sound are just gone but tbh just get used to it atleast it had good sq and the case look unique and cool its look like aquarium lol and the thing its it aint that loud the volume are just decent
