I own a khov home and I have had nothing but issues. It just breaks my heart that my new construction home needs a total renovation. 0/10. Shame on anyone that knowingly helps them rip people off.

I haven’t sold enough of their homes to give a definitive opinion either way for them yet, but I think they build a decent home. They don’t build in a ton of communities at one time & are a smaller local builder, which also comes with its own set of pros & cons

They haven’t built much here in Coastal DE - from what I have seen they have been fine, but they are not very common

Depends on the neighborhood! KHov has homes from the upper 300s all the way to the 800s depending on location & size of home

They build cheap homes with the right concepts. Yes, I just bought one. Nice plan, cheap paint, ... list is long, but overall it's OK if you want a cheap home.

They are only up in Northern DE so I haven’t had any experience with them. I don’t like providing info that I’ve heard through the grape vine as people aren’t always reporting from a clear view.

K. Hovnanian will not allow a private home inspection until after close and will only fix what is under warranty

Khov sale person never communicate on time and intentionally manupilate and casue delay to charge you penalty and avoid paying insentive aa promised. Be aware of scam, if you have no option, must hire legal team to review contract and keep everything on paper trail, pls

Your responses are more biased towards this builder. I disagree regarding the home inspection. This builder is giving very hard time for us.

Interesting - where are you building? I’ve had a few clients build with them that had inspections and got items fixed without issue. There are some items they don’t fix if they are “within county regulations”.
