Basically what i think about all you said about your first point, living abroad is all about DIY system. I live in America and it's the same thing my best friend lives in the UK and she complains about the same thing. So the system makes you try thing out by yourself.

I enjoyed listening to your experiences. I'd like to emphasise something you said: flexibility is a crucial skill for all people everywhere. And it's something all of us fail at, some more frequently than others. But it's good to try.

Love it! A rigid mindset gets you nowhere. 'Nigerian civil service' 😅😅😅. Here you EARN your pay, every minute of it. Some workplaces even have mobile phone policies. No phones at work.
@Aishalagunju
@Aishalagunju 2 жыл бұрын
I know! , that phone one was actually very shocking to me. I found that most places I’ve worked, it was frowned upon to use your phone and all that. Although It wasn’t a stated rule but it was just the culture and you could tell everyone was complying 🤣 so you have no choice but align yourself properly 🤣. Thank you for your comment! 💕

Wow haha no one helping you with coocking and housekeeping :D:D:D How can one live like that. Unimaginable. My Professor at Uni from Cameroon teaching african economincs was complaining exactly about the same things after moving to germany. Here in germany people who earn a lot are still doing these chores on their own because we dont have a structure where the gap beetween rich and poor is so vast that we exploit the poor as our personal house slaves. People who still have people doing these things for them have a tendency to hide that fact because when people you know find out you're embarresed to let other humams "do you dirty work"

It's really the majority of of Western Countries where not being will to help around the house means remaining Single. If you expect your potential partner to do everything, They'll Run Screaming From You and you'll be Single for a long time. I understand there are different Cultures in different Countries. But in Countries like the ones I've mentioned People Might Decide You're A Spoilt Brat. It all stems from a History of Housewives being expected to do all of the Housework. So Her Spoilt Husband can come home and just sit around doing nothing. Women started Fighting Back in the 1960's. Now any Self-respecting Women will want nothing to do with Men Like That. Some Men will cook a meal to impress a future Partner.

Anyone here asking Visa question don't ask her nor should she answer. All she's doing is giving you a link. Get proper advise. To summarise Australia you make money but you pay high price to live. If no children it's about at least 17 bills to pay. With kids alot more. Life is not easy here as she said. No madam madam here. If I had my way I'll move to Nigeria.
