Unlike many hyped and misguiding videos this is the most apt, relevant and true to the core picture described by Dr swapnil. A must watch for an aspirant. Keep up the good work dr rahul. If dr sumit can specify the salary in uttarakhand like city then i think this has to be the most comprehensive video.
@docrahulchawla2 ай бұрын
Hi! Thank you for your kind words! It’s actually difficult for a person to disclose his own salary! But Sumit did mention it to be 3 times of what he was getting in Delhi corporate. So it’s a good sum and easy to calculate 😊

Dear Rahul Sir, After six years of relentless searching online, I am thrilled to have finally found you! I had the privilege of reading your exceptional book, 'Biology at Your Fingertips' for NEET UG, which proved invaluable in my studies. I cannot express my gratitude enough for that masterpiece. Having cleared NEET in 2018, I eagerly searched for you online but unfortunately couldn't find you at that time. Your book played a pivotal role in helping me realize my dream of becoming a doctor - a dream that seemed impossible without your invaluable resources. Now, I wanted to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks. THANK YOU SO MUCH, SIR, FOR HELPING ME TURN MY DREAM INTO A REALITY!

Do what you truely feel like doing, what you are passionate about and work hard towards that goal. Competition is everywhere. It's survival of the fittest.

Lack of proper infrastructure in hospitals in small cities is one of the main reason. What is the point of having a Neurologist in a small town that doesn't have MRI Brain facility, where a Neurologist can not do thrombolysis for a stroke patient?

Sir how is general medicine residency for a person with mild essential tremors? Please make a video on endo, clinical onco and neurology please
@docrahulchawla2 ай бұрын
Sure! Shall include more specialities if I get a good response. Also, start treatment for ET . Shouldn’t be a problem if well controlled on treatment but still may have difficulty in minor procedures.

Respected sir I was diagnosed with essential tremors in the year 2020 it has been 4 and half years and tremors are still mild. I have visited multiple neurologist they only prescribed me provanol tabs and say you'll be fine.

@@JatinChauhan-b2oYes it’s fairly treatable condition just that work up is required to rule out any other etiology that may progress. Also if you had no issues putting cannula and sutures during internship then there won’t be any issues later as well.

Is occupational therapy come under orthopedics?
@docrahulchawla2 ай бұрын
Orthopedics is a specialisation we do after MBBS. Orthopedicians are doctors. Occupational therapy is a paramedical course and they help in Rehabilitation , not treat patients

Is DNB ortho worthy?
@swapnilmedicoАй бұрын
Traditionally pass percentage low in DNB ortho but recent years have shown a good trend. Mostly at private centres and barring a few, surgical hands on is low but exposure to all the top notch surgeries is there. Many of the top surgeons in India are DNB. Many subspecialise later into specific branches using Mch or FNB. So less hands on during DNB becomes a non issue. So overall can take..but should be aware of the pros and cons
@tardigrade228Ай бұрын
No one degree guarantees exposure and hands on training. I have seen people graduating from KEM Mumbai as MS ortho and they all admitted that there was no experience.... I thought they'd have perfected their skills but they all unanimously agreed that they barely got any exposure and they had to face alot of politics, it's a misconception that MS guarantees hands on experience. In DNB one has to prove themselves, prove how one is willing to work well and how much they care about their patients, and eventually one gets to operate, and your trainers guide you well, unlike in alot of govt institutions where you're not given adequate support by consultants and patients are very often treated like guinea pigs to experiment on. I'm from GMC Solapur (MH) myself and this has been my personal observation. This applies across all specialities. The ophthalmology dept was the pits in gmc solapur. Bragging rights for getting an MS is ultimately irrelevant if you don't even know how to do a cataract surgery because the HOD himself is incompetent, but survives and thrives in a govt set-up. He wouldn't last 10 mins in the private set up, but here he not only screwed up cases regularly, he also had PGs under him and heaven knows what they learnt, poor things. Everything has pros and cons. Choose wisely PS- the KEM MS orthos were doing SRship in GMC Solapur because they had a bond with the MH govt, that's how I got to work with them in internship and they were pretty open about their experience with govt MS ortho.
