I remember how easy thunder 4s were in 2012 I walked right in the store to pick them up. The bred 11 came out the very next day so a lot of people passed on them. Ever since then I been wait for the Lightning’s to come out 🔥

I think the main reason for the 2021 version getting more votes is because your audience is most likely new sneakerheads. We weren't around in 2006 so we have no attachment to the 2006 version.

@ 5:30 This why I rock with this channel. The knowledge and attention to detail! I noticed the shape, mold, cut difference when I compared them to my fire red 4’s. 2021 giving us that 1999 cut vibe. The taller bulkier mid foot + slim toe box. I LOVE IT. Makes my fire red 4’s look horrible when I noticed how small/short they are.

Ignoring the price difference and any historic significance, the new version just looks better. Hopefully the materials feel reasonable but I've heard nothing special about the previous iteration. 2006s were all about the yellow and I honestly think the new ones are a better colour. Not to hype because I want my pair; just saying.

The 06 have the older style tongue tag with the wonky lookin jumpman, with his skinny arm and ankle etc. I’m so glad they fixed that on newer shoes. Just one of those small details that important to me I guess

2021 pair is way better at all aspects than the 2006. The older pair on the side view looks like banana shape. Good thing Jordan Brand have decided to correct the aesthetics this time around by sticking to the OG Shape

Back in 2006 I wanted this shoe so damn bad. The sneaker game has come so far and turned so wack I wouldn’t even look twice at this shoe. Everything watered down and hyped tf up. I rather wear regular shoes than rare Jordan’s anymore 💯 FYI the cut on the 2006 is better.

2021 Not saggin on the side, all the tweaks from color are better. Couple shades lighter in some areas make a difference. Other than that, not much. I love the style, hate the color personally. It'd been nice if they'd offered a few different colors. I'd been down with that.

I think Nike is going to do this more times. Repeat models after 10 years or more so that resales do not skyrocket. It is outrageous that some shoes today count 250 and in 3 years 1500 for example
