@@artsaves100 this is true if your not a bass head and don’t intend to add a subwoofer but if you like lots of bass then don’t push your interior speaker to the extremes, get yourself a subwoofer and let your interior speaker play highs and mids, they’ll thank you for it

I like that you do a proper sound test because there are some videos out there which just talk and don't show a sound demo which is totally pointless. For me its all about bass, treble can easily be added with extra tweeters but bass is harder to add without the aid of a subwoofer etc. Bass in a 6.5 inch speaker an ideal everyday listening speaker. So many lack bass.

Those scosche ones don't handle power very well. and bass is not great under about 70-100hz if you try to push them hard like that in any kind of enclosure they will smoke. Only about 30 watts RMS absolute limit (Voice coil gets hot enough to be a heat radiator at 30W RMS. but they don't burn up if they are not restricted airflow wise) Theres a 6x9 version that also has the same problem only 30W RMS. sound quality is decent but it simply lacks power handling. With enough breaking in you can get it to hit lower but it just won't be able to handle enough power to push the volume in a decent enclosure. Better to be done in an infinite baffle setup using the rear trunk as the enclosure. or as door speakers or something. Gets plenty loud just dont put too much power to them.

Mid Range Drivers are pretty resilient to free air environments You’re on the money if you were talking about subwoofers. I’ve seen a voicecoil completely dismount from the motor when one of my bros was torturing his old Rockford free air didn’t take long or an insane amount of power to perform either

It's not a special good way of showing speakers. No mounting. No cabinet no placement and recording sound and hope youtube can deliver the same sound out of earpods, smartphone og PC speakers. It's just a guy who holds a speaker and filming the excursion of the speaker. Use your own ears and choose what you think sounds best and install the speakers like it was in a 100.000$ car. It's not that difficult

honestly they all sound terrible my friend and the cheaper one actually sound better (not so cringey) as the more expensive one. I'm afraid te sound test doesnt work here as a means to evaluate a speakers performance. Dont quit your day job bro... ;)
