Great review! A tip for these: they are able to be resoled if you get them done before the rubber outsole has completely worn off and the cork starts to wear. It looks like that happened with your sandals so it's too late for those, but hopefully you can get your Bostons resoled when the heel starts to almost wear off!

I was just about to comment asking about slipping 😂. That was my biggest concern. I have Arizona birks and love them so was interested in buying these for fall/winter

I need to get a pair of these , I have the original Birkenstocks that I’ve had for over 3 years and I wear them everywhere but it has clear imprints of my feet on the sandals which is kinda gross and they’re honestly soo stinky , one time we had just got back in from the beach and she was laughing about how she could smell a cheesy vinegar odor , so I said “why don’t you give my sandals a nice good smell check if it’s them” . When she took a big whiff she I could see tears in her eyes , she just said “ My sandals were toxic and should be scrubbed with everything possible😂😂😂😂

You might destroy the heel cork driving in them. Make sure to apply cork sealant on them.👍
