Thank you for the video. I always enjoy hearing you talk about this week's new releases from ColourPop. Especially this one because I love small 4 or 5-pan eyeshadow palettes. I like the theme, names , The mini demos, swatches, and wrap up are all good ideas. I was tempted to pick them all of them up. But, I'm going to wait & see. I like the new video format. I am many years removed from the glitter bomb all over my face I wore back in high school. I don't mind a good glitter ever now and then but only if it stays where I want it!

I really like the HUSTLE with this video by filming, editing, and rearranging your upload schedule- I really appreciate your feedback before the launch! I hope it helps people make a more intentional buying decision before the launch today. I think about how quickly Colourpop announces a launch, sends PR, and has them up for sale so quickly before it is on to the next that I see so many people getting caught up in the new and want to buy before trying to dupe it out .

The voice over was on point, excellent work. As per the palettes, at this point we have those colors over and over. It doesn't matter if they are not the exact dupe, on the eyes they look the same. I will say, I am very happy with the direction colourpop is heading. I love small palettes and these looks incredible for someone that doesn't have a lot of makeup. I think the shade arrow in the cherish one has the asterisk because of the pigments in it, not because of glitter. They’ll often do the asterisk for glitter or certain dyes and pigments. And you’re totally right that that first shade should have had an asterisk next to it, you can see the actual glitter flakes in it lol you’re spot on.

I’m really grateful that you created this video! Especially for the comparison swatches! I also think it’s ColourPop realizing how popular small palettes like this were last year and they want to jump on the bandwagon. Honestly I’d rather pay for a 9 pan palette which is only a few dollars more anyway. For some (including myself), ColourPop FOMO is real and I almost bought these mini palettes. I had them in my cart but never hit the place order button. I’m working on overcoming my collector’s mentality this year so I call that a win!

I really used to LOVE colourpop. I own and love so many of their singles, I’ve purchased palettes, I’ve been so excited for their launches in the past. But for the last year, maybe more, everything is just a flop to me. There have been things with so much potential - these included, top of the list - but then ultimately when I see swatches and reviews they’re just... not that good. Thank you for this review! I have the Tati pallet and all of the Elf bite sized pallets, so after watching this I think I will pass. My least favorite shades in the Tati Pallet is the glitters which I hardly ever never use and the matte shades with the glitter. When I wear the glitter shades it seems I wear them on face for days which annoys me. Thank you for your hard work on this video, I really appreciate it!!!

Love the comparisons, thank you for taking the time. I've learned the glitter mattes translate to the eyes as merely just mattes. The shine doesn't translate so I just use them as another matte. I also just love who you are. I know how hard it is for you to say anything which could be taken negatively. It's ok to not love this release

I enjoy the chunky glitters and am okay with just using the micro glitters as mattes, so super excited to get them! I was surprised at how much more I liked the color pop more than the Tati tones. And if you buy them in the bundle they come out to like $8.40, so if it’s your jam and preference like it is mine then it ends up hitting that price. I can see both sides and am happy you talked about both who these are for and who they aren’t! Keep being awesome! 💜
