Bought mine used for about 160usd.. Took it trailing loved it! I swapped those stock rims & replacing it with metal ones. The only thing that disappoints me is the stock ESC gave out while normal driving which I replace with a 1060 from Hobbywing & swapping the remote with a Flysky GT5 as I'm running a winch. You'll have more fun with yours! Also I recommend to swap the steering links with aftermarket ones as the original ones tend to rub against the pumpkin

Thanks for the tips! I recently put some new bead locks and tires on which I love. I have noticed the steering links hitting the diff so for now I adjusted the end points for the steering so it don't do that. I'll definitely look into after market links.. Thanks for the tips and watching my video, I really do appreciate it 💯🙏🤙🤙🤙

Redcat is awesome. I have a redcat ascent also and a everest 10. I will not waste my hard earned money on Traxxas. The gen8 is a awesome trail rig

i just ordered the metal drive shafts for my gen 8 v2 axe edition cause i broke the plastic ones already but other then that solid truck

I dont go too hard on mine, but it's been holding up great so far 💯
