2:31:30 this is wrong, you CAN have FX on 2 channels at once, you can use the crossfader assign buttons beneath the channel FX assign.

Could it be that using a slower usb messes up the unit cause it can’t write or dump the playlists metadata from it’s buffer or backlog to the usb drive on time?

They removed the. Pitch led arrrows that helped with soft take over, this was the start of things being removed. Those arrows that are still on the denons are invaluable to open format djs..... They should of followed the ddj rz format and improved that..... Its been down hill since then in terms of build quality and features.

I've had many problems with pioneer stand alones for years (xdj and cdjs) also with the software when exporting. I have found denon more reliable software and hardware, it crashed on me once but I think it was the internal SSD cable as it never happened again when reconected. Seeing this I do not want to switch back to pioneer.

errr, Sleep mode is good. Powering off is bad. It cools and heats the components....shortens the life fastest.

I don't know why you think it's a sloppy review, dude. The average person's using some bullshit sticks, and now I'm using brand new Sticks, better sandisk, extreme pro and one same issue. It has to do with a power draw or the usb port and they're looking to I have an exchange because the engineers want to see what's going on with it. Thank God, you have guys like me too. Doing these sloppy reviews So the rest of you don't get screwed and waste your time troubleshooting
