Should you buy the XDJ-AZ ?

Besides my right jogwheel’s vinyl mode not working at all. My unit crashed while doing a live mix 30 minutes in, 11 tracks played while recording. I hope alpha theta see’s my messages. I’ve send emails to technical support but I’m not getting any prompt responses. A simple “Hi, we’re currently working out your issue” would’ve been nice. They only asked me if I did some minor and simple troubleshooting techniques. That’s it.

If the jog did not work out of the box and never actually worked, I dont think its firmware. Either contact your retailer for exchange or repair. Or contact repair center in your region directly. Waiting on a firmware fix here may turn out to be a disapointment.

The AZ is so expensive and brand new I can’t believe the amount of problems with it

The best advice: If your system works for you, there really is no reason to change it. Don't "upgrade" unless it is really adding something to your set that you are missing. Anything else and you are wasting: $$$$.

I ran mine for 6 hora yesterday (beatport and usb) no problems at all. I’m pretty sure it’s your drive dude

The drive is Sandisk Extreme Pro 128 brand new and it still crashed. Alpha theta engineers have deemed it defective and want it back.

Also happens to some with link to pc without any stick. I think in this particular cases its not the stick. As it seems to affect everyone differently in regards to how long it takes to crash and under what circumstances its hard to pinpoint the root cause.
