Nice job. And props to the watch's owner for using his timepiece to the max.

Great job, Kalle! The case and bracelet look loke new :) I love that you try to keep it as close to original factory condition as possible. It’s easy to forget that watchmaking goes beyond just servicing movements. One needs a lot of skills to restore a watch or a clock. I guess that’s why many great modern watchmakers come from restorations.

I received an old Armitron diver-style watch. Appears to be from the early-2000s. I rotated the friction bezel, and gunk started to be pushed out. I decided to do a complete disassembly, and the amount of dirt, debris, lint, dust, lotion, DNA, and whatever else that was discovered was truly gag-inducing. It's now completely cleaned and reassembled. Nice little Omega 300 style watch that runs on a Miyota 2115. Has a nicely aged, cracked plexi crystal. It's now on a tropic style strap. She's a keeper.

excellent, for me yearly i disassemble all bracelets i have and wash them with water and soap and dry the parts with hair drier . i don't want my DNA to be spread every where . been doing this for the last 30 years .

@@ChronoglideWatchmaking thanks 🙏🏻 but it talks about it and does actually show a real example being done. I’m hoping to see some real examples with the process being actually done.

I made a comment in the last video about no solid end links.. Looks like the owner invested some time to crate solids..
