Set in Chicago, where a central network of computers connects everyone and everything, Watch_Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society. Using the city as your weapon, you will embark on a personal mission to inflict your own brand of justice.
Chicago's overarching network is known as the Central Operating System (ctOS), and it controls almost all of the city's technology and information - including key data on all of the city's residents.
You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. While seeking justice for those events, you'll monitor and hack those around you by manipulating the CtOS from the palm of your hand. You'll access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.
THE CITY IS OUR WEAPON
Watch_Dogs takes place in a fully simulated living city. Using Aiden's smartphone, you have real-time control over the city's infrastructure. Trap your enemy in a 30-car pileup, created by manipulating the traffic lights. Stop a train, and then board it to evade the authorities. Narrowly escape capture by quickly raising a drawbridge. STREET JUSTICE

In the first game they set them up as this huge hidden network of people you don't want to mess with, then in the second game it's just a couple of hipsters who can't go five seconds without telling a shitty joke. I really wish all the Watch Dog games were as serious and dark as the first one. Dark stories (in my opinion) are always better than some stupid action-comedy were they constantly tell jokes.

​@@vengeance1450All Dedsecs members are not the same, WD1 has Dedsec Chicago and in WD2 it's Dedsec San Francisco. Even if they're telling jokes they are still the same as vigilantes but Aiden is built different. In the end Ubisoft wanted us to understand that Dedsec was to be trusted.

Like if the Joker hurt Jack there wouldn't be a Joker on dry land anymore. He isnt just a killer he will actively go for the least lethal option as much as he can unlike Punisher.

Most of the footage they have of him always seem to be with the mask so most people don't even know what he looks like, all they know is this mysterious man is helping and protecting them, but they don't even know why. I find that very interesting.

Only way for Aiden to know where Damien is to use ctOS system because that's how he hacks through the system, ctOS is nearly in every computer and device, Damien has full control of ctOS, making it hard for Aiden to trace the call, plus Damien is a Hacker and a Fixer, with his hacker knowledge and ctOS by his side, he could mess with Aiden of where Damien could be, just like how he messes the location of the 3 points you need to download the virus

Batman, but Aiden would hack it, and then Batman could use his martial arts skills and non tech oriented gadgets to take down Aiden. I love both characters equally, so I don’t know. Aiden doesn’t have a rule against killing, Batman does. So, if it were to the death but with their regular rules Aiden would win, but to the death without rules Batman.
