I understand its "cool" to not like Ubisoft in the gaming community, but can we at least talk about issues that are more specific to them and not just make them up?

Ubisofts franchises have serious personality disorder. Sequels share the same names but have very different character.

Yeah, that wasn't the point earlier, when they have been making various games for various respective audiences: Splinter Cell - a geo political spy simulator, Ghost Recon - refined military tactical shooter, Rainbow Six - squad based tactical shooter with emphasis on strategy and planning, Prince of Persia - action-adventure with platfrom elements and so on. Now YOBAsoft's game design be like "yo let's mix busy side activities, open world, customization, movie like animations, rpg elements and basic stealth 'cause that what people need in every game duhhhhh"

@@sinenomine8739 this exactly... every game they released recently feels the same. Shit open world looting and shooting game. And especially no character development at all because they have chosen choosing your own character over building one individual character thats original, has interesting story and depth. I dont think that theyll ever make another character on the level of Ezio for exampl. Or Sam Fisher or Jason Brody. Im remembering these names not because of any coincdence. Its because of the reasons i said above that old ubi games had excellent characters. Hard to forget...

Ubisoft isnt known for character developing games.. they aren't RPG experts.. What they do best is tell a story. Just look at the Assassin's creed franchise, Far Cry franchise..etc I have come to enjoy Ubisoft's games actually, it's different from the Rockstar games or Bethesda or hardcore other RPG games like Witcher, they offer something different unique and awesome. In what other game can you go around as an elderly, insult people and cause mayhem.

I love legion! It’s so fun. And funny too whenever you, the player, get to have a max level pursuit, even in a fist fight, and kick a few Albion guards in the nuts before getting knocked out and arrested with a baton. Also, the gunkata’s awesome in this game too

I love how I didn't even mention Watch Dogs 2 and you knew exactly what I was referring too. Yep, i'll be honest, I thought Watch Dogs 2 was a boring waste of a beautiful open world to play as some cliche screw the establishment corpo hating H&M wearing Hipster beating the crap out of manbun having bodygaurds with a yoyo. The only thing I loved about Watch dogs two was calling cops or gangs on your enemies and messing with NPC's. Other than that, yeah I wish Watch Dogs would have more badass characters that stand out for being cool slick gangsters like the John Wick style character in my video. Plus Ubisoft knows that by now considering Legion sold way more copies than the last game.
