There is such a thing as over-performing. Stage presence is an art, it's about creating an aura. If you over do it, it comes off contrived and can take away from the bars. A lot of these new guys have that same forced wordplay choppy battle-talk flow and they over-perform everything. Everyone trying to be the next Twork. Performance can take you to the next level, but If your wordplay is so forced that you need an accompanying play so people can see what you're trying to say, you're reaching too much and you need to rewrite your shit.
