Happy Anniversary! The Tudor Coke GMT is fire - can't wait to try one on at my AD. The monochromatic BB is a 41 - a more affordable (and more available) alternative to a 124060. The gold BB - I love gold and green, and I love my BB58 OG, but if I were going to spend $32k, I'd buy a Day Date 36 green dial for $3k more. Love the 1908 platinum. Cheers!

Congratulations George on your anniversary.👍I really like the 1908 release love the dial😍. Rolex focused on precious metals and diamonds for higher end clients.Cartier definitely had a great 2024 W&W. Tudor had good release. I have Rootbeer Tudor already makes no sense getting Dr. Peppar.🤔

HOT TAKE: I know that everyone is saying the all gold deepsea is out of left field, but I actually think it makes sense…hear me out…the entire line of the yacht master II was discontinued. No one was buying a YM cause of a regatta timer (probably the least used complication ever) so the only reason people were getting them was cause they were getting a big ole honkin’watch and wanted a sport model vs the dressier sky dweller. I think having both the Deepsea and the Yacht Master II in the line up is bit much cause there isn’t much demand for really big watches, but having one is really on brand for Rolex, and I believe the overall consensus is that the deepsea is actually a more desirable watch, but due to marketing the YMII was portrayed as the flexier piece cause of the full precious metal models. Because of the very specific complication it was obviously not good business to keep that whole line alive to keep 1 extremely oversized precious metal watch, because the deepsea already is available in stainless and two tone, so any YMII buyers can shift to wanting a deepsea for anything other than all gold. So you ax the YMII line, add a precious metal deepsea, boom, Manufacturing gets simplified and you don’t lose the “Miami Flex Piece” from your catalog and we get a subtle rebrand on the deepsea. Not staying I think Rolex needs an all gold 44mm watch in the line up at all - but the release I think makes complete sense.

I think the all gold Tudor was more of a capabilities flex, and raising the profile of the brand. They've been working slowly towards becoming a competitor against something like Omega, although they aren't there yet.

Nah. The LN is classic. Keep it. The new version looks less designed and more of a new way to use old parts. And no way I’m buying a gold Tudor. Defeats the entire purpose of Tudor. Grand Seiko won W&W this year, imho. Good video though! Thank you!

Screw the relationship BS with an AD. Who guarantees that you'll ever get a call or the sales person "jackass" will be there in 6 months. I don't even wear my Sub any longer since Smart watches give so much more :) Geneva - The most boring and expensive City in the World just ike Rolex and Tudor. Get out 1/2 hour drive from Geneva and you're in heaven. Rolex store at the Airport had 2 models available and I passed just a few months ago.
